So what do you think of this? Are you a diabetic patient that wants to be as healthy as possible and live longer? Then you need to do the following things..... eat all you want. That's right. Eat what you want.... then you fast for 8 hours before you eat another thing. You do this and you will live longer by following this plan. How do I know? I have done it myself. I lost 27 pounds and I haven't been happier. I think the secret is that you eat all your food in one sitting, get incredibly full, then the next 8 hours your body has a chance to consume all the glucose and the pancreas then rests for the rest of the 8 hours. This is foolproof. If you get hungry during the 8 hours, you just drink water. Has anyone else done this type of thing as a diabetic? How did it work for you? Tell me about it :)

Hello Guest.... I do not believe this diet is in the best interests for any diabetic. A diabetic patient needs to regulate their blood sugars and by eating loads of carbs at once and then not eating anything for 8 hours will harm their pancreas, not help it. You may have lost weight and noticed that your blood sugars are better; it was the weight loss that helped you regain control of your blood sugars, not your "diet." Somehow you apparently lost weight by limiting your intake and calories, therefore, losing pounds. I would encourage every diabetic to stick with the plan their doctor recommended and exercise moderately. This is not only healthy for the heart and other organs, but it is helpful in blood sugar maintainence.
Are there people that have tried this type of diet? What did it do for you?
