Why don’t you think the chiropractor is a good idea? They are central nervous system doctors and have a better understanding of anatomy and physiology than normal doctors.

for what its worth (I have similar issue) and no real diagnosis from doctors. I don't know if my problem came from injury or non-injury related. i did come across a condition called 'chronic abdominal nerve pain". it has to do with the tearing of the nerve sheaths that run in the abdominal wall and cavity. this inflammation and irritation can cause pain that most doctors miss (or don't know about) as they are looking for everything else but that. look it up it may shed some light on your issue. this undiagnosed pain can play with your head i know; I am going nuts and hoping a doctor can pinpoint anything so it can be treated; so far no luck and i've seen 5 different doctors and had ct and ultrasound scans.

I have the same problem. I learned I should not eat heavy on meat, fatty foods and coffee. If there is an attack I did hot compress and sleep, when I wok up the pain subside then
2-3 days I ate too little and ate more apple. Very effective.

My husband has had right upper quadrant pain for 6-7 years. He only eats once a day because eating makes the pain worse. He also says that being in the seated position makes it worse. He has had 2 colonoscopies, lap cholecystectomy, upper and lower GI scopes, swallowed a camera pill, had gastric emptying studies done, CT with dye, ultrasounds, bloodwork, prescribed antibiotics, nerve meds, and an array of other prescription meds, had a laparoscopic ligament release for MALS diagnosis (median arcuate ligament syndrome), and recently had abdominal injections from a pain management doctor... None of these things have helped him. He is fatigued greatly, depressed, unhealthy, has high anxiety, and eats tums like candy - at least a large bottle of maximum strength a week. He says it feels like something is "stuck". It is a constant chronic pain, it is ALWAYS there. I have been taking him to the Cleveland Clinic for his care, luckily my insurance has covered all of these procedures. I has ruined our marriage and a lot of aspects of his life. I want to help him alleviate his pain because I love him so much and want him to be pain free. Any and all suggestions/advice would be so very appreciated
