I heard about pilates several years ago. My college from office told me about many great things which she experienced while she attended pilates classes. Although I've been listening so many stories about pilates and its benefits, I didn't know that there are several types of this exercise. I would like to know something more about it.

Hi, there are several types of pilates training depending on the fact if you would train on floor mat or it would be machine. There are Stott pilates and Winsor pilates which covers these two groups. Also there are ball pilates and yoga pilates. All these methods strengthen your postural musculature and legs and arms. No matter what sort of pilates you choose basic idea would stay the same, it will make your body and spirit healthier and stronger.
