The longer you keep in, the easier it becomes hon. Get out with your friends, go do something that doesn't include drinking or being around LOUDNESS! Go play some baseball or tennis, something to be healthy with and getting out in the sun and getting your mind off of all of this! It can be totally consuming!! I KNOW!!!

Football XD hate baseball XD you must live in the U.S yeah? i live in England XD we play footie hehehe trying to avoid loudness might be hard as i am a DJ XD and that is my hobbie :-) but aint been doing that recently due to this condition :-( many thanks bambi :-) :-) your words are very comforting :-) Marc

Leeds United CHA CHA CHA!!!!! Yorkshire Lass loud and proud I am!!!! XD Go a be Rooney for a day - without the silly voice or tantrums ;-) XD . Just thought of something. There is something that could be totally affecting you! Your too young to remember this group called Wang Chung! They had the most annoying song in history - other than "Don't Worry Be Happy" - it was Everyboy Get Wang Chung Tonight!!! So when the video came out, there was all these flashing pictures. Well it set off tonnes of people into Epileptic Seizures!! Remember the electric thing I said about?

So with your job, you have a few things going on! 1. the flashing lights - unless you do ballroom DJing!!!! 2. the loud bass in the songs, plus the loudness of it - can affect ALL your organs plus your heart!! 3. Seeing everyone pissed and laughing and being ON!!! You have to do that too! You have to sell yourself and the music that you are playing or mixing right?! So this actually makes a lot of sense of why you feel so low right now. I'm not saying change jobs of course - God knows what the world would do without 1 more DJ!!! ;-) XD (You know I'm surprised you didn't catch on that I'm British - with my sarcastic comments!!!) BUT that said, maybe you need a break from it. I know England has a great disability program. My cousin was an alcoholic so he was on disability for that! And they used to give him money for his "disability!!!!!!!!" I wish I lived there when I was an alchoholic!!!!! ;-) XD But anyways I digress. Really bring up all the things I've just mentioned to the docs OK! OH yeah GET TO BED!!!!!!!!!!

Well i went there and in my opinion it was a waste of time :-( i mean when i got there i asked her if she had heard from the hospital like they said they would tell me doc and she said no, so i explained to her what was wrong and about the tests at the hospital i had, she then took my BP which this time she said it was normal :-) me dad asked if i could have any drugs and she said i don't think that is a good idea. I explained all the stuff that happened to me like me ex ans that but she was basically saying i will have to deal with it by me self :-( she didn't even offer counseling or anything, only in there for 5 mins XD

Well so you went in and she didn't give you the best advice. I think that you could still pursue the counseling option. Have you considered doing that? I think that at this point that you should. I am sorry to hear that she thinks that there's nothing wrong with you but you clearly do need to at least talk to someone about anxiety. You can go to a therapist as part of the NHS right?

Well she said i probably do have anxiety and some panic, but she didn't offer much help :-( which i was really disappointed with, this is a new doc that i have never seen before so maybe that's why she didn't seem to care that much :-( she did say my anxiety is more then likely to do with my ex, then i told her about my mum dieing when i was two and she did say that probably aint helping. Also i have a new symptom now :-( it feels like there is something stuck in my throat and occasionally its hard to swallow, my god will these symtoms ever stop? will this anxiety ever go away? why do i still feel like there is something wrong with me? ahhhhhhh so many questions XD i hate feeling this way :-(

Anxiety will continue to make you feel that way until you get help for it, unfortunately. It's an emotion that has a lot of ways of expressing itself, and there's an issue that you'll want to take care of as soon as you can. Is it possible for you to get to see a therapist? I think that would be the best for you!

I don't know, how would i go about getting therapy? is it the same as counseling?

Yes, sorry, I think that maybe the language barrier might be cropping up here. :) As far as I know, through the NHS, you should be able to go to a counselor or a social worker or a therapist or someone like that to get help. If not, then there should be someone you can still talk to. Ask your dad about it because he should know. And it will definitely help you with your anxiety quite a bit, I promise!

Marcc, as a guy who used to go through a lot of anxiety, it would bet a million dollars that it's just anxiety. It's hard because anxiety also causes you to doubt yourself so you freak out and then you think that the problem is anything BUT anxiety. Just stay strong. And I'm sure bambi will be around sometime soon :)

Yeah it's the same hon! don't despair OK? I found a couple of sites for you to get counselling

http://www.bacp.co.uk/

Also I don't know which area of Britain you live in, but if you punch in NHS mental health services trust it will show you the different areas!

I know your dissapointed hon, but really if they thought for one second that there was something serious with you they would ahve you in and checked on. You just want this to be over - due to all the stuff that is happening with you. What you are going through IS normal honey, you just don't feel like it's normal! So if you get with a counsellor and other people in support groups, you will start understanding why you feel this way and what the triggers are and how to treat it. I didn't think she would put you on anything - due to the really really BAD side affects for young people!

I found another site for herbal cures for anxiety - I ALWAYS believe in going that root 1st because the other way can be SO bad for you. Here's another link for you to take a look at.

I know your job probably keeps you up at all hours, and believe me hon, lack of sleep can be SO bad for your anxiety level and your symptoms - because your brain isn't relaxing enough, it's always on!!! So try and get as much SLEEP as possible.

Find a group near you and a counsellor/therapist and go see them and try it out OK? Good luck hon! I'm always on here to talk to ya! So don't worry about that OK?
