Wow sounds just like me! I'm in my mid 20s now and I'm having the same deal. I'm on an antidepressant but I'm not sure if it's comparable to Prozac
I am also in pain if I don't eat in time and even if I eat it doesn't stop. I frequently get bloated too. I remember this happening since last year to me. So I read somewhere that it might be cause of gluten intolerance. So I tried reducing it and it helps a lot. Also when your stomach hurts before meal drink a full glass of water. this helps me a lot. I used to consume bread but don't or replace it with gluten free bread
Could be excessive gas released by the not so friendly bacteria in the gut. Sometimes the normal bacterial flora gets disturbed and replaced by not so friendly bacteria for any number of reason..like the use of antibiotics...etc. Best to take probiotics to restore normal health and normal bacterial growth back into the gut. Another reason could be lactose intolerance. Does the gas and distension get worse after taking dairy products like milk, cream , cheese ..etc? If so try removing these from the diet and see if the gas or distension is less.
Yep, I went Gluten- Free for a year & dropped 25 lbs in about 9 months. Unfortunately this was too much weight for me to lose; so, I then felt weak. I think walking is the best thing you can do?! Walking seems to move things through the digestive tract much quicker and cuts down on the gas pains. Try a 10-15 leisurely walk every evening and see how that works. Oh, I can sometimes eat a bottle of Antacids On any given week. Sorry you all have this problem; but, I too have been dealing with similar issues for 6-7 years!
I have had the same sort of problems for the last five years after having a stressful year... family loss, and job related etc. I battled for years, with gas, pains and dizziness and poor toilet (diarhea, constipation etc). Sometimes at night, I would wake feeling sick and believing I was dying.
Thinking I may had been food poisoned, I tried a Hulda Clark bowel cleanse which kind of helped for a bit. I still take components of that to this day but I also saw advice from a genuine physician.... pro-biotics. Here is what I do:
Firstly ( I did try this but stopped as it didn't work and there are physicians who advise against it with out proper medical advice) don't just go glutton free! It might help some who may be caeliac. But for most, we need glutton!
Components of bowel cleanse are turmeric, digestive enzymes and fennel (all in tablet or capsule form).
I take with meals, a turmeric three times daily. Digestive enzyme three times daily and I was taking fennel three times daily but have since stopped as it does cause acid. These components help digestion and stool passing which will make it a more natural consistency but it may appear a little orange due to turmeric. I also take one or two pro-biotic daily. The pro-biotic is to replenish bacteria but it also helps mental state as the bowel/stomach and brain are closely connected (a problem with one will cause a problem with the other - catch 22!, vicious circle etc. )
The other thing I do is try to stay stress free. Stress seems to be the driving force behind this problem. Not easy to deal with and takes a lot of mental effort. If I get acid pains in my stomach or throat etc., I mix 1/3 to 1/2 tee spoon of bicarbonate of soda with glass of water and drink slowly. Not nice to taste (which you get used to) but works wonders, is totally harmless and natural... research it! Oh, and never strain when passing stools! This is a big cause of acid and malfunction of bowel etc. (The tablets above should help with passing more naturally and freely anyway) Relaxation is highly beneficial so make changes, removing stressful factors from your life or at least, your mind! Meditation helps too but is a slow process.... I still have not mastered it but it helps me to de-stress and relax from day one of starting meditation. Exercise, and I mean going for long walks, aim for your 10 thousand steps (I only average 2- 5 thousand a day) if you can, out in the countryside, is very helpful. But walk with a clear mind. Don't take a head full of problems with you! Please note, I am not a doctor. I am only hoping to help others based on my own experience. Good luck and peace!

Further to this.... forgot to mention... try to eat healthier I.e. More fibre, chew your food properly and drink plenty of water each day. I stopped drinking coffee and replaced regular cups of tea with water. Makes all the difference ;)
I am a teen and I have the same problem my stomach been hurting for the past week it's a stomach pain that I can't tell if I'm hungry or not when I try to eat it gets worse when I do eat my appetite lowered down a lot sometimes it effects me at school some of my friends are concerned because how I am at school. The first day when it happened I thought it was a little ok stomach ache but it kept going I tend to skip meals because I'm never hungry anymore someone please help me!
I have a very similar thing happen when there's a fairly long (maybe 6+ hours) space between meals. I always assumed it was because my intestines had started taking air through because there was nothing left in my stomach. After I eat, I break wind several times over a good 10-20 minute period. It would be interesting to know if it were more than just my stomach moving air into my intestines.
Have you been checked for h pylori? That causes exactly what you've described.
I’m in the exact same situation except I’m 17 and i also have bad lactose intolerance so there are times when I don’t know if it’s from some dairy that I had or the lactaids didn’t help fully digest the lactose or if it’s from not eating or both. I need help with this it is painful and I hate it. Please help.
Had similar problem and suffered for more than 30 years. One of my well wisher who suffered the same suggested to use GASEX, from HIMALAYA company. Dosage depends on severity. I had taken the capsules, 3 times daily for first month, then 2 times daily in 2nd month and then 1 capsule per day in 3rd month. It really worked reduced the pain and problem. However, it is not permanent solution, but keeps the problem at bay. Even now, I keep the medicine in store, for use when required. May be you can try
I have had this all my life and it seems to get worse when I’m tired or stressed. Also worse when am on a vegan diet for some reason. (?) Am searching now for a cure as my daughter has it too. Rubbing peppermint oil on your stomach can reduce the pain - just don’t get the oil in your eyes or any other sensitive areas as it will sting.
As soon as my body wants food I become really gassy, and it is horribly smelly. My stomach distends, sometimes so that I look pregnant. As soon as I eat enough, the gas and distention go away. I have no pain though. But exercise makes me gain weight, and I gain weight if I do not eat enough. Drs will not help me with any of this. I've been fighting with them for the past four years.
I thought I was going to find an answer here but I guess I'm stuck with the same problem, I look like I'm 8 months pregnant if I don't eat something decent every 3 hours or less, I also tend to bloat when eating too much but it's not painfull or anything compared to when hungry (I guess my skin and guts had stretched so much due to hungry-bloating that they'll just relax often)
Sometimes if I go to take a long walk I have to take a taxi back to my place, not only I look awful when bloated but the pain is terrible to move with and I just have to lay down without pants for a a few hours, exercise tends to make it worse at least in the beginning. It's been like this since I was a teen but it's been getting worse, it's painful to the touch and it's also nerve-wracking.
I'm sure it has very little to do with diet, or at least I feel as if i tried everything, doctors point out gluten allergies or similar, diabetes, lactose intolerance, too much fiber, too little fiber, little or too much water, avoid spices, coffee, alcohol etc, IBS is the only conclusion they can write down but none of the treatments available for irritable bowel syndrome can prevent a massive bloating.
It does relate to stress sometimes, but I'm usually overwhelmed by work and studies in a regular day basis and it not always ends up in bloating, I've also noticed it responds to drastic temperature changes, mostly cold (during winter, also summer when I get in a pool) I don't notice any significant gas coming out in the following hours when bloated, sometimes it goes away "without a sound". If I wear tight clothes (lets say high waisted jeans or a back brace which I have to use sometimes for work) the abdominal area gets upset quickly.
I think it just is some rare or less common symptom of IBS that treatments may not be covering, or maybe a very long term problem to fix with diet that does not seem to work within weeks. I'm miserable when hungry and nobody understands how much I need to eat asap when it starts.

I have the same problem as many people here do with the bloating and pain. It started maybe around the age of 45 or 50 (I'm 65 now). I had increased pain and bloating about two years ago and then shortly afterwards I had appendicitis and got an appendectomy. My stomach felt really good for a few months, I thought maybe this (infected appendix) was why I was bloated but the pain and bloating came back. It really is only bad if I go without eating for a few hours. So I guess the best thing for me is to eat more often, smaller meals.
