I had gallbladder removed 1 week ago and have been experiencing dizziness, feeling faint and severe headaches. I was told by a friend in the medical field, who also had similar problems when she had her gallbladder removed to drink one caffeine drink then start drinking a lot of water daily to flush out the toxins from the anesthesia, IV antibiotics and pain meds.

8 days post op from having my Gallbladder removed two days ago I started feeling real dizzy, with shakes or tremors I start sweating and feel faint. I see a lot of posts that others are experiencing or have the same exact or similar symptoms. I can not believe no one out there has received a medical diagnosis or confirmation from having this organ removed. I feel worse now than when I had my gallbladder. Absolutely No one warned me that I would be going through all this. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel I can't believe this could go on for the rest of my life. Anyone with any good news about this ordeal please share.

I too have had my gallbladder taken out about 5 weeks ago. I been dizzy and sometimes have a headache. I understand in most cases it will go away. Luckily for me I am an acupuncturist and have found important points to alleviate this. I would recommend going to an acupuncturist to see if this helps! I too thought I was either dying or going crazy. I am relieved that this is a common symptom and feel that I will be able to resolve this. I will post again after treatments.

Hi all
I had my gallbladder removed 2weeks ago me too I get lightheadness from time to time but also as you said I feel cold out of the blue I check my temperature and I find it very normal..sometimes I use electric heather to get warm
I don't think it is an infection because the temperature is always between 36.5 and 37

It has also been three weeks for me, and I had an ERCP done two days ago. I too before I had the last procedure had severe vomiting, nausea, and dizziness. The specialist went in with a scope and found three more stones as well as bile that was blocking my duct, and it caused severe pain and the other symptoms noted. So he removed the stones and the bile blockage. You may want to see a GI specialist for those symptoms, so far I have not had any other problems from the surgery. It is all a matter of making sure your system is entirely cleaned to avoid these symptons.

Wow same exact thing...and I woke up dizzy this morning out of the blue I talked to the nurse my followup Friday anyway but she says she doesn't think the surgery had nothing to do with it. My bp may be up it was before going in for surgery slightly. Today is my first attempt back to work.
