I need some info regarding the healthy food. Is there something wrong with fish? I have heard nothing but good things about fish but someone told me that eating too much fish is not really recommendable, because of the mercury. Do all fish have too much mercury? Is it really dangerous?
Mercury is a substance that enters fish’ organisms through gills. And it is a toxin for our body, although it is in a very small amount. The problem with toxins is that they should be excreted daily, and if that does not happen, the body stores it for excretion on the next occasion, which does not come because new toxins come in every day. Therefore, eating too much fish (or anything else) is not recommendable.
