hi i am 25 and like to go out at weekends to drink with my friends, the only thing is i don't know when to stop and as soon as i get out my aim is to get bladdered! i have memory loss every time i go out and the next day i feel terrible i hate not knowing how i got home the night before. i am now experiencing really bad stomach ache the following day, so much so i can't even lay on my front, i feel sick dizzy i shake and my stomach feels like it is also full of gas. do i have a problem?
Even if you do have a problem, you are not the only one with this kind of problem. It seems that nowadays nobody enjoys drinking and having fun with being a little bit drunk but there seems to be this collective need to get sloshed.
I myself have a feeling of shame every time I get drunk although I don’t pass out and I do remember most of things but not always. It is fun to drink at nights but not at the cost of being laughed at or making a fool out of yourself (I am not saying that you’re doing it but there’s a possibility).
I reckon that you could have an influence over this if you wanted to and that you could overcome the problem on your own. All you have to do is be aware of the problem when you go out and try to control yourself. So, when you notice that you are a little bit drunk and that it is a level at which you are enjoying yourself but you realize you are drunk, this is where you need to pass the next round. Don’t drink one drink after another but hold on a little bit or cut it with mineral water or something.
I reckon it is up to you if you want to control this or get out to get sloshed.
