Please help me this last month I've feeling anxious,worried,stressed and panicky every once in a while ?sometimes it happen at night and I find it hard to sleep , then sometimes I get it during the day and I don't feel hungry %-) .The symptoms I get with this are usually feeling sick (The most common feeling I get during these attacks), my heart feels like it beating fast or needs more air,sometimes pain around the chest, forgetting thing and getting confused, shaking and feeling hot and cold and having really strange thoughts and feeling like i'm in a dream or going crazy o.O !!!I've getting these really stupid thoughts in my head that seem not to go away like can someone read my mind if I get close to them etc o.O !!!!! I hope I'm not schizo or going crazy but I am scared into turning into one please help me :'(
What you are experiencing is a bad panic attack and it gets worse the more times it happens because anxiety only builds up more and more. Anxiety is the reason why are you more aware of regular body functions like heartbeat or breathing - the worst part about anxiety is that its only enhances itself - you feel the body symptoms, that makes you worry so your heartbeat or breathing gets faster... it just creates a vicious cycle. You need to see your physician so he could give you something to treat the anxiety and than the rest of these symptoms should get better.
Thanks for the help and for replying nikols :-) One thing I've realize about panic/anxiety attacks that they increase your deepest fears and make you worry more about everything.By the way what is the best way to get rid of panic/anxiety attacks?Is there any self help tips or anything that helps ?
Even though you can find a zillion self-help books that are here because someone decided to make money off of other people's misfortune, it seems to me like you already did make a crucial step just bu realizing that anxiety and panic attacks only increase more and more if you give them the chance. So, the main thing you can do for yourself is to see these thoughts when they come just as they are - negative thoughts anxiety is pushing to you.
See a neurologist & suggest simple or complex partial seizures. I hope you have found an answer by now.
