I had a tonsillectomy 6 days ago and i am in absolute agony (to be expected really) I expected this but it gradually started getting worse. I went to my gp who told me i have an infection where they cut them out and give me penniccillin(?) and more co-codamol. This is doing zilch to help and i feel like its got worse. It feels like the right sside of my throat/tongue has swollen really badly and i am struggling to swallow my own saliva never mind the water to even take my concoction of pills. Please help, is this normal or do i need to go back yet again?
Also I feel soooo drained. I have no energy to do anything - getting up and going downstairs really takes it out of me! I so want to cry at the moment but cant due to the pain - I really do not know what to do! :'(
