I dont know why but it makes you lose weight. I started smoking july 2012 everyday and havent changed anything in my life style I was kinda fat but now im starting to get skinny. Since ive started smoking I have lost 13 kilos. I like that I have lost weight but I dont know if its gonna cause any trouble on my body anyone know?

I use to smoke everyday before school and everyday after and I am 5'7 and I use to way 140 pound and I could eat a horse but since I quit smoking I am still 5'7 but 165. So to me in experience smoking does help with weight.

I would say yes. This is from my own study including only myself. I started smoking about 5 years ago and lost 100 lbs. Then, about 3 years ago I got pregnant and haven't smoked since and gained back 60lbs. I'm going to try it again (not around my child of course) to see what I come up with. I'm going to write a report about my study.. that is all.

As for me it makes me gain wieght. I notice when I stop I tend to loose weight. I k ow it sounds backwards or weird but true.

I find that sometimes i go up to 10 hours without being hungry, and when i do eat its only because i try to eat atleast twice a day.

Hhhmm. Iv been a erb smoker for 20 years. Everything is mostly in the head. But weed will take your appitite away. Its the boredom on the come down of erb. So there for u sit and eat while being hi. The ONLY WAY TO GAIN WEIGHT IS BY EATING MORE CALORIES THAN YOU CAN BURN IN A DAY. So when u sit? And munch? You aint burning caories as if u were walking or moving around in someway. ERB DOES NOT MAKE YOU GAIN WEIGHT!!!! its YOUR family genes and your lazyness and the will to eat more calories than you burn. P.s i have a high matabilism and erb dont slow it down. I wish it did. Its hard for me to gain weight. ;(

Weed was actually used in earlier times to curve your appetite when used correctly it can practically assist with a diet. I smoke weed regularly and when i feel a little full i smoke and it stops the hunger and i dont overeat . I keep my munchies healthy. Because realistically a healthy person should snack about 6 times a day. Im 21 and im a size two and have been for about 3 years ( since I became a frequent weed smoker). So when used correctly weed can make you lose weight.

I started again 6 months ago and now I have gone from 110kgs to 80 kgs (66 pound difference) all my mates who smoke weed have either lost alot of weight or are already skinny and my mates who have stopped Gained what I lost. I don't know the reason for losing weight when smoking pot but it works.

Personal experience, so take this with a grain of salt. 

 

When you're high, everything is delicious. Including foods that are healthy. Tangerines, apples. plums. peaches, raisins. Crunchy veg like peppers and celery. Unsalted nuts in moderation. Basically, when I was high I would train myself to crave healthy foods while sober.

 

Also, bud can give one insight that might impact their motivation positively. It did for me, anyway. For example, "I care about my health" could lead to more desire to lose weight.

actually marijuana has been proven to speed up your metabolism, which is why u get the munchies. my friend who was kinda fat smokes every day and when he gets the munchies he just doesnt eat and he has lost like 30lbs over like 4 months. with that being said, if u get high then go do mcdonnalds and have 3 big macs fries and a milkshake, and sit down and do nothing, youre gonna get fat lol

I started smoking weed about a year and a half ago and since then I've lost 104 lbs .my appetite is completely gone . Usually for me I can't even think about eating when in when I'm not high ,to have any type of appetite I have to smoke but when I get high I'm not hungry so it helped me .... A lot but then again it depends on the persons life style to cause I work and go to school full time . But I'm not a doc so that's just my opinion

I have painful sciatica and use pain pills and pot to calm the burning in my legs. I got an RX for pot a year ago. I weighed 150 at that time. Belly fat and all, I liked my shape for the first time in years because I was very skinny for most of my life. After smoking medical MJ for a year, I now weigh 114 and look like sh*t..everyone has commented that I am way way to thin. So today I gave up the kind bud. Sleeping will be hard for a few days, but I do hope my metabolism recovers and I can at least get my girls back. Of course the tum will butter up too if I do gain. But I sure do not want to look like a starving refugee. I am pretty sure the pot is the culprit as the other meds I take have been working for the last four years and pot is the only change
