I disagree against this completely. I have smoked pot the last 3 years about 3-4 times daily. I went from being 160 when I started smoking to now being 125. Not because I didn’t eat, I just didn’t eat as near as much. I didn’t feel the need to eat, I wasn’t necessarily “hungry”. This could be true in other cases possibly I guess. But I was also working 8 hour days 5 days a week also through almost the entire 3 years.

Yes pot increases your metabolism ... If you try to control your hungry after pot and have lots of water you'll start loosing weight ... It is my experience

Agree, I gain weight when I stop smoking 2 times and now I'm going back and will easily lose weight.
