It is not known whether marijuana helps you lose weight or not, although from personal experience I did in fact lose weight... before smoking or when I had just started smoking and didn't do it very often I ate A LOT and was disgustingly overweight, then I started smoking more and more, and now I smoke every day faithfully, now I only really get hungry from munchies and when I'm not high I don't feel hungry therefore don't feel the need to eat. Not only have I LOST weight, I no longer get migraines, have body pain, I'm not as stressed, and I seem to be more active and spend so much more time outside and with more people, it made me healthy and social. I'm very pro-weed. But like I said, this is just my PERSONAL experience and everyone is different. Your metabolism also plays a big part in it.

your right on the money, i lost exactly 40 today, been smoking for about a year after few year hiatus, in fact i seemed to gain half while not smoking, then lost 40, hells yeah. I totally agree with Guest.. I used to eay only bout twice day, now i munch all day, and sounds dead on bout metabolissm that it slowed down cause i only ate 2 per day, now its like 20 times per day, lol. Oh the guy is also right about eating smaller amounts, that went WAY fricken down, im almost imbarrased i cant finish something little now, loving it tho.. always feeling hungry, and ok with it, that makes it even easier!

I smoke weed from a bong.i lost 40kg. CBR1 receptor. Is proven to be a pathway to lose weight. CBR1 receptor is a Cannabanoid receptor found in the brain. I am also wanting a answer to this question as to how smoking weed makes you lose weight. I have a feeling the answer lies in, increased respiratory function. Which causes increased cardiac work. I was 80kg sister and her friends started smoking weed and all dropped 20-30kg each. I decided to give it ago and I now weight 53kg, I still eat c**p all the time. When I started smoking I was got the munchies and with in 3,month the munchies stopped and I was struggling to eat a whole meal onces a day. I now can eat whatever I want mainly pick at everything and still keeped it off for close to two years, I still smoke daily. And don't exercise.

Yeah that's actually not true, look up intemitten fasting. People have lost weight faster and for the more growth hormone, better insulin sensitivity and more muscle growth to limiting their food consumption time to an 8 hour window a day.

You absolutely have no clue what your talking about it does increase your Metabolism and heart rate which causes you to burn calories. Also if you are use to eating and smoking then you just trained your body to eat only when your high and when you are not then you will have no appetite.

I've been smoking one year now. On a continuous basis. I work out once or twice a week. After smoking for a few months, weight started falling off. I noticed so I compensated by working out. (I had gotten chubby before I started smoking). I noticed I lost weight and looked good, great even. But wanted to keep up muscle mass. I've lost 50 pounds that needed to be lost. I'm at a great weight. Was 245, now I'm 195. Take the information I have given you and figure it out on your own. But I work out weekly, eat right, and smoke weed daily. I feel great.
