I smoke weed every night when I'm home from work. It helps me wind down.

I have noticed that I can eat as much food as I normally would eat over the course of a day, within an hour or two and still be hungry.

I find it very hard to put weight on and if I don't eat properly for a few days...e.g...weekend bender

I can say absolutely pot speeds up your metabolism AND also aids your body in processing sugars. During the years that I did not smoke pot I was 20 pounds heavier and experienced highs and lows in blood sugar levels even though I ate healthier. Go figure

I agree I smoke regularly it use to give me the munchies I then chose to start drinking water when I was hi to kick the cravings of food now it's just in your head when you want to eat when your high. But food does taste good as hell after the high wears off

I've been in the same boat - aged 50, impossible to lose weight, always a large pot belly around my waist. Each and every nutritionist whom I've presented my diet diary to, couldnt fault any aspect of my diet. I eat clean, only organic and natural foods, very low intake of sugars and carbs, I power-walk the 12km each way along the beach twice a day, spend an hour and a half at the gym, given up alcohol five years ago, as well as smoking weed. My weight in the space of three years went from 89kg to well over 100kg. Not had for a 1600 calorie per day diet and regular exercise. Scored a couple ounces of hydro skunk weed (very powerful), made absolutely NO changes to my diet or exercise regime, apart from ripping into three or four big fat cones first thing when I get up, another just before hopping in my car to head off to work, another mid-morning, then lunch, mid afternoon, two more hits before hitting the gym, and a couple cones before calling it a night. Over a three month period, I lost just over 15kg. No wonder the stuff's illegal here in QLD, Australia. Cannabis for weight loss works and because they can't tax it, they can't approve of it.

they probably smoke weed with tobacco after doing that for a long period of time you can lose up to 10-50 lbs

It does help. I went from a 40in waste to a 32in waste and lost 33% of my body weight. It took awhile tho. The weightloss didn't start taking place till after a year and a half of daily use when I started smoking heavy heavy. As of now I go through 3 grams of weed daily to those curious of how much I'm smoking. Little use of marijuana won't make you lose weight.

That's bs. Everything you said above is c**p. It is possible to lose weight when smoking weed. Certain people when smoking, lose their appetite. Iv seen this happen to very close people, and not once. They would smoke and lose a lot of weight. Once they quit, the weight would be gained back. However, when they started smoking after a year of not smoking weed, they lost weight within a month. So, please, for future reference, do not say something so false and so surely while at it.
