Hi, has anybody mentioned this to their dr?
I am having the same problem which so far I can only associate with alcohol mixed with fizzy drink (vodka and applitise and crabbies ginger beer) but the pain is awful. This is after only one drink (1/2 bottle of crabbies) which is ridiculous! It starts in the shoulders and then works its way to my insides (chest area and around my back). Last night it was followed by burping so I guess it must be trapped wind but it doesn't happen when I drink a fizzy drink without alcohol. I'm not wanting to drink loads but it would be nice to know I can have the odd couple now and again to socialise without feeling ill and having to lie down/go home. I just wondered what the Drs view is on it as I don't want to book an appointment specifically to discuss this if I don't have to. Cheers Sarah
That's no answer when one, or more, types of alcohol causes and others don't.
This makes sense, to some extent. With mine, it doesn't happen when I drink beer, vodka, or gin. However, most whiskeys, wines, and wine coolers do it to me. It doesn't even happen with moonshine. I'm thinking it might have something to do with all the sugar combined with the alcohol. My latest event happened just a while ago after I drank a whiskey and coke. The wine coolers are sweet, as are most of the wines I like. However, I drink vodka with either orange juice or tomato juice and the gin I drink with tonic water. It's the sweet with the alcohol that causes it with me.
f**k off you piece of human t**d
