I have been taking Duromine 40mg for 4 days now and so far i feel great. I am 22 5'6 and weigh 70kg. i had a baby almost 12 months ago and am struggling to loose the weight ( was previously 55kg).
The 1st day i felt a little strange and couldnt sleep that night. dry mouth, goosebumps, sweats, no appetite no hunger pains, and have been sleeping fine except the 1st night, today which is my 4th day i have had a racing heart and a few pulpitations but nothing that is concerning me. have been eating barley anything ( obviously thats the point) food just doesnt even take my fancy and find that the food ieat doesnt taste as good as it used to. so i can go all day without food but am trying to force myself to at least have 2 small meals a day and lots and lots of water. So far i havent noticed any change which i am a bit upset %-) about after reading so many posts of people losing so much so fast. Since starting it i have been unable to excercise due to a sick bubba but went for a brisk walk this morning and will start back at the gym once bubs is better. I am truly hoping this will work as it seems to be a never ending battle to kick start weight loss. Once i have lost what i need i know that i need to continue a healthy eating plan and excercise regulary. So fingers crossed i start seeing results soon =) any suggestions as to how i could see results faster??
Finally finding meds that don't make me gain, I've started duromine for the second time in my life. It started quite slowly which was disappointing, but I stuck with it. My job requires me to be moving all day so further exercise really isn't necessary.
On the last day of my second pack I hit 20kg lost. I have to force myself to eat sometimes and that's great because I'm building good habits. I recommend duromine to anyone in a danger weight range.
I only had the dry mouth side effect for about a week and nothing since.I still drink about 2l of water a day but thats a consience discission.I eat healthly because I have no cravings and my emosional eating is under control.
Good luck to everyone that reading this that want to try Duramine XD
I'm 170cm tall, 29 year old female and started at 101kg. In 4 weeks I have lost only 5 kg which is very disheartening. I feel like I'm doing all of the right things, maintaining a healthy diet of 4 small meals per day, I'm caffeine free, don't take any other meds and drink only water.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Should I stick with it ?
I have been on Duromine 15mg for 17days now. I haven't lost anything yet :( and I am experiencing the worst side effects like diarrhea, nausea and bad stomach cramps through out the whole day! I did sort of lose my appetite (but not completely) and I keep feeling hungry still!!??!! :( which is hurting my tummy more...Also still feeling sleepy during the day and at night I just wanna go sleep!! I can hardly have the energy to exercise as well which is frustrating!! :( I am scared... what am I ment to do??? I need to lose weight and I have been trying out everything possible for the past 6 years!! I am 22years old, i weigh 77.6kg and my height is 158cm :(:(:(:(:( I need helppppppp please anyone.... At the moment I'm thinking to pause Duromine for a while casue its giving me really really bad tummy ache!! I can barely handle it!! But not sure if I can pause it?? or can I skip taking it like every second day or so... maybe?? Thank you everyone
I hope this dose works for me. Im 125kg and need to be atleast 60kg to fit the healthy weight range!
Im just a bit concerned that the does isnt high enough to do anything??
Time will tell I guess!
My appetite is slowling coming back, im still heaps thirsty though, my sleeping pattern has gone back to normal now.I take the pill about 6am in the morning. I still feel like i'm "coming down" in the afternoon and get aggrevated really easily but it soon fades.
I havent really changed my eating habits i still have a small bowl of ceral in the morning then eat around 1pm a sandwhich or dimsim or some sort of small hot food from the university cafe and usually don't eat dinner or if i do its tiny. Since i'm on the highest dosage how come i haven't seen any results yet ?
I talk to other people that notice change straight away. I don't do much excerise but im still walking around a far bit.
Can my body become ammune to Duromine this easily ? I only taken a form of illcit drugs twice in my whole life so i don't know what it could be.
hey evey1 ive strtd duromine todae im sooo thrsty:|
hey evey1 im new>:(
this duromine is great ! I have been on it now for almost 2 weeks. the first week i was on the illegal variety (bought on internet without script) I did that as my dr had refused to prescribe it telling me wasnt overwieght enough :(. So I bought it on internet but then after a few days got worried about what I was really taking. Went back to my doctor and gave it straight. told her I had bought on line and was taking it prescribed or not. told her I would much rather get it on prescription, know it was the real deal and be under medical supervision. Needless to say she was very peeved with me but she did then prescribe. I am on 40mg duromine, week two ie one week "illegal" one week legal lol. I was 74.6kg and now 71.2. so a loss of 3.5 kg in two weeks (acutally 11 days). might not seem that overweight but I am only 160cm , I dont wnat to be skiiny but within my BMI, so about 64. with duromine am getting there VERY fast. I have some side effects but they are tolerable. dry mouth, extreme sweats and some palpitations at times. Feeling a little hyper vigilant, Not very hungry but make sure I do eat, just not that much. I cant say I have had extrmeme energy like some report but I have noticed everything I do is at top speed lol - even talking! my friends say I seem a little excitable. when I walk I am like a steam train, every movenment is much faster , so am getting lots of unitentional exercise. One warning here, I am not deliberately moving at tops speed, it is just happening and I have to keep consciously slowing myself down. Like me, if taking duromine you were probably a bit overwieght and so likely not very fit either. The extra (extreme) physical activity has made me very racy in heart ie very rapid pulse, very strong palpitations and a fluttery feeling in my chest at times. so just be careful you are not physically over doing things!
