hi, i am on 5th week of pregnancy. And, feeling pain or cramping before and after peeing. i called my doctor's office, and the nurse replied that it has nothing to do with your pregnancy. She also advised me to see my family doctor and check for bladder infections..i had few miscarriages in past, and i am really excited about this pregnancy. Is it really required to see family doctor or this is a normal with some women..i am very eager to hear answers...thank you in advance......

See your doctor. It does sound like a urinary tract infection and they are common in nursing women. While UTI's aren't thought to cause miscarriages they can lead to a severe kidney infections. You don't want to have to treat this while pregnant.
