whats the best things to eat post cardio?? more protein or carbs???

protein. carbs are usually better to eat early in the morning say if your going to work out later that night. Or even the night before a big run or workout. I used to run cross country and I would always eat a good portion of pasta the night before for dinner. I would stuff myself just eat enough to fill up. Protien is better after you workout but not through food if its immediatley after your workout. Usually it is better to have a smoothie or shake or protein drink. Protein bars are ok but I still recomend the drinks.
