Yikes! I just realized I have Paraesthesia also!!!
i am 12 weeks and 5 days preg, ive been off 150mg effexor xr about 2 weeks now and feel like im going crazy! terrible attitude toward people i love the most, very severe depression! i just dont know what to do, im told just to lock myself in a room away from people and deal with it? any suggestions on how to cope with the side effects? my email is

Called my DR and told her about the side effects of coming off this . She said well then your not ready to come off start taking it again .. No way in hell am I starting over on Effexor.............

I was able to get off Effexor by removing 1 more bead each day. I started with 240, next day, 239, next 238. I know that seems tededious, but It worked. I also used some homeopathic remedies (only $15 each) for depression/anxiety as I got weaned off. I have been off of it for at least 6 months.If you have any other questions:tprescott2000hotmailcom
It's too dangerous to be on this drug during pregnancy. I had to count all the beads to see how many were in one capsule...it is worth it.

Please see my answer to Markayla below....this is how I got off of it after 12 years. It really really worked and I am drug free....6 months & counting. Also using homeopathic remedies for depression/anxiety as needed.

Is there an active class action suit taking place against effexor? I've been on it and desperately want to get off this nightmare of a drug that is killing my ability to function. I've been on this medication for well over 6 years. Not exactly sure but I am sure that it is impacting my life in horrific ways. All I want to do is be free from this toxic addictive drug that is slowly sucking the life out of me.
