I appreciate your assistance in this matter. I am a 32 year old female. My boyfriend and I were intimate on Day 14, Day 15, Day 16, Day 17, and Day 18 of my cycle.  On day 16, a "white discharge" was noticed in the morning during my first urination when I woke up. I have never had something like that before in my life. Some of our sexual practices were not "safe," that is, on Day 14 at about 8 PM, he ejaculated on my chest and stomach, some ran down the sides of my lower abdomen. It was wiped off and then I proceeded to take a shower with hot water and soap, but did not rub my vaginal lips, only letting the water run around my stomach and vaginal lips. On day 15 in the early morning, I licked him for about 30-45 seconds, and then inserted him unprotected for about 1-2 minutes, then re-located to the bedroom, and got a condom. He did not ejaculate in the condom (or at all). On Day 16, in the evening, we had protected sex. On day 17, he entered me in the early morning for about 2 minutes unprotected, then put on a condom, but did not come into the condom. We had protected sex twice later in the day on day 17. We had sex in the early morning once of day 18, completely protected.

I am concerned that perhaps there was some leakage into my vagina from the shower / ejaculation on stomach/chest on Day 14. I have never had a white discharge like that before (day 16), and am quite concerned. Is it possible I am just wetter recently since we have been having sex 2-3 times a day? My last period lasted for about 11 days (8-10 is usual). My periods usually run about 30 days, with some variability of 29 to 36 between cycles. Since he never ejaculated inside me, either with or without a condom, and was unprotected inside me for a very short time, and I took a shower after ejaculation onto my stomach/chest, am I likely not pregnant and simply ovulated on Day 16? Or, would a white discharge appear about 48 hours after conception like that? Please let me know. I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you for your guidance.

Hi Female,

There is always a chance of pregnancy with any sexual contact.

The only way you can get pregnant is if sperm got into your vagina.  There is no other way.  Sperm doesn't live very long when exposed to air and if it dries it dies.  Soap and water will also kill sperm.

As you progress through your cycle your cervical mucous will change, that's normal.  Mucous is the way your body "cleans" itself.

When's your period due?  You need to wait at least 2, preferably 3, weeks after having sex.

Good luck.

Very unlikely, however precum does contain very small amounts of sperm. As for what was on you belly- no way. You might have an infection if this is totally out of your body's norm. If it continues, starts to change in color, smell, or you are have pain and/or fever, get it checked out. If its bacterial vaginosis it is very common and treated with meds. Normally falgyl.
