Hi

I had a pipelle test yesterday, and the doctor said that the results are likely to be inconclusive. Anyone know what happens if they are?

Thanks

Helen

Hi Helen,

Basically, by saying "inconclusive" it didn't support or disprove the diagnosis.  In this case additional tests are usually performed.

Can I ask, what were they testing for?  PCOS?  Uterine cancer?

Hi

Development of irregular periods, which are getting more irregular with time... Nothing major I don't think - just the doctor wanted to rule out anything nasty.

Thanks

OK, thanks.

Glad it isn't anything "nasty."

Good luck.
