endometrial polyp alternative cures

hi i am 21 years old and have just been diagnosed with an endometrial polyp. my obgyn says that if my period has not stopped after seven days, we should do a D & C.

i am fine with doing a D & C but I would just like to know if there are alternative remedies, what your experiences were with a D & C, risks, and if there is a possibility of a regrowth of these things?

i have been experiencing heavy bleeding, an abnormal cycle and also i have one more question, when i get sexually aroused, it seems i start to bleed and pass blood clots, is this because of the endometrial polyp? will having it taken out solve everything?
