My son aged 4 has an enlarge left ventricle. This we found out in the x-ray taken recently. The doctors say it has no significance. But as parents my wife and me would like to know more about this and also what precautions needs to be taken. He is hyper-active and often gets hurt in his head.
Please advice.

Hi there, with an enlarged left ventricle, i don't think that there is much you can do or much to worry about there. It can sometimes be indicative of future heart problems but not something that he would need to be concerned with for now. Did the doctors not discuss any of this with you?
