On the bottom right side of my penis is a very enlarged vein.  Its been like this for about 3 days, went to a doctor in er and he said he didn't know.  He told me to take one aspern a day for a week.  I have Hemocromatosis and blood clots scare me a little.  The other thing is I just had reconstructive surgery on my left arm 2 weeks ago.  Is there any thing I can do about this or should I be concerned?

Although hemochromatosis can increase your risk of blood clots in the veins, I have never heard of it affecting a penile vein. Also a thrombosed vein is not just enlarged, it tends to be hard and painful and affects the surrounding area as well. You do not mention pain so I'm guessing that this is not the case with you.

I think you need to get another opinion on this, just to be on the safe side - probably best to arrange to see your regular doctor, as an ER isn't really the best place for this kind of expertise.

It has a little pain but just in the one spot.  Its hard for me to get in to see my family doctor.  Do you think heat or ice would bring it down?

Sorry for the delay - I missed your reply. Yes - ice sounds like a good idea
