So don't go on a Progesterone only pill then? Stay with a Tri pill and just get off Yaz/Yasmin!? is that what your saying?

I'm still waiting to go to the gyno, I called my doctor today about them because they faxed them a request form thing and should have called me with an appointment date but I haven't heard a thing, so now I have the number to the place and have to call tomorrow...so frustrated, I just want everything figured out. And I better see them soon before I run out of pills.

Hi Honey! Remember I am NOT a doctor, BUT when you get to see a gyno ask about taking a break from Yaz/Yasmine and try some other Tri pill! When you phone them, tell thm you are about to run out - they will probably phone in a perscription for you in the mean time!

Ya I know, but I respect and appreciate your opinion! And thanks, I didn't know they could do that :-D o and my period did finally show up kind of, not the 28 day cycle and period i'm use too.

Sorry, but do you know if its normal to have like intense cramps? I've been having them for the past two hours, before I felt nothing. And i'm like expecting to start bleeding or something but there's nothing!!

IT could be just a sign of the yaz not working like it once did - a lot of doctors think this is silly - but myself and others TRULY believe that your body gets used to a certain pill! I thought you stated that your period came on? IF it was lighter, then the pain might just be your uterus contracting more! Take a hot bath and see if anything happens - as this can bring on a period or help discharge the uterine lining!

Ya, and you said it had less estrogen 8-| I thought it came on, this morning when I went to the bathroom and wiped there was some if any blood on the toilet paper, so all day I wore a liner for nothing because I haven't had anything since...and now this intense pain that i'm not use to and theres been like nothing. Not even the discharge I was having before. I keep feeling like i'm going to pass a huge clot but theres nothing.

I cannot get a hold of the gyno office, been trying all day so maybe shes delivering a baby or something...but I had like intense pain all night, and been cramping all day, and theres practically nothing so i'm not sure whats going on with all the cramping...and like you said I think I did ovulate this month, not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. So weird.

Since the pain is so bad why don't you go to the hospital? I used to go almost every month - for morphine (due to clots and PAINFUL periods)

The hospital, really? Well last night the pain was about a 9 out of 10, before I went on the pill it was about a 20 out of 10, so it still wasn't as bad as its never been, but for the last 6 years i'm used to feeling nothing. But the pain has gone down a bit maybe like a 6 out of 10 right now. I just really don't get why theres so much cramping for nothing %-) kind of weird to me

So I finally heard back from them and the earliest I can get in is October 26th! Which I think is too far away (is it normal to have to wait that long?), so my doctor said if its not okay for you then to look for another one, because even she thought it was a long time to wait. But i'm not really sure where to find another one or how to know if their good or not, and I would ask my friends where they go but i'm pretty sure they don't have one and just go to their doctors. I just want to figure everything out and know whats going on :-(

Hi Honey! OK! If you have a womens hospital or clinic in your area, give them a phone call and tell them you need to see a specialist and wonder if they know of anyone that is accepting new patients!? OF ALL the people the nurses and clinicians at the hospitals will tell you who is the best to deal with! You have to remember that a LOT of doctors just focus on 1 or 2 different specialists, they don't phone around by anymeans! So take it into your own hands! IF the pain goes back upt to a 8 or 9 go to the hospital where you WILL be seen by the appropriate people! October is RIDICULOUS! BUT in this day and age of greed and private clinics, they can make you wait as long as they want! So take your health into your own hands and find someone to help you!

Thanks, I've been on google ALL day trying to find someone and I can't! I've been on the yellow pages site and nothing. I went on the hospital website thats close to my house and found nothing, well i've found a lot of doctors but not gynecologists. I found a great website that lists all the doctors in my area accepting new paitents, but you have to pay to see what they specialize in and a bunch of other stuff, which is dumb in my opinion!(and I would do it, but I don't feel like giving an untrusted site my credit card number) And I do want a female so that narrows down the search. I don't have a women's hospital near me that i'm aware of. I asked my friends, but they weren't of any help. Its not easy trying to find a doctor, I thought it would be because I live in Ontario but its not!

The pain is like a 1 or 2 but Midol finally works!!

So thank you! That website was really helpful! I found 5 people, who I googled and had GREAT reputations! And four of them work within the same building. So I called them today and they are accepting new patients, thankfully, just have to go back to my doctors for him to send a referral...But they still said that if its not urgant it can take up to 6 months to a year! So hopefully my doctor will make it sound urgant so I don't have to wait that long!!! Crazy, but thanks :-D
