I have the same problem, though I am only 15. There is so much that I honestly feel like I have peed myself. Seems like its been this way since at first got y period a few years ago. I wasn't sure if it was normal or not, and I'm glad to know its not just me.

I've had a tl in 06 but here lately, my obgyn says its completely normal & it only means that ur extremely fertile. So if y'all are trying to have a baby, now would be the time...
Not to mention since my tl I've had 2 more kids. So this is absolutely normal. Irritating but normal.

I too am a mother of two who experiences this "problem" daily. While I am still breast-feeding for a few more months, (until the child is 2 controversial i know but my choice), my period has returned somewhat regularly as in once every 2 months (talked to my Dr. about this already). I did not experience this discharge before so it is a new and irritating experience for me. As embarrassing as this is to admit I find myself constantly aroused because I am aware of this excess moisture which then only aggravates it, plus my husband likes the excess. I assume this is my body telling me to make another baby seeing as I got pregnant with my second about a 1 year and a 1/2 after my first which it is now that time. I don't want anymore kids so this is annoying. Sure being constantly aroused when in a monogamous relationship doesn't sound too bad but there are kids around so I am somewhat embarrassed about my constant "inappropriate" thoughts (I never act on them in front of the kids).

I just hope this is a phase because it's just plain embarrassing, like someone else said sometimes it feels like i've peed but its just discharge, and I have to change panties frequently. Some say the pill helps but I cant take anything with hormones as it immediately throws me into depression, I even tried ultra low doses as directed by my Dr. so no thats not going to be my solution. Kegels haven't helped me. I've gotten stronger yes but it hasn't changed my discharge.

I am just relieved to know I am not the only one with this problem. Still I want it to go away already.

I saw on another sight this could be a sugar imbalance. Stay away from white breads, pastas, and refined sugar things and so some moderate exercise (20 mins 2-3 times a week) and it will clear up in a month. Someone else replied that the advice worked for them too!

I'm 21 years old and have the same watery discharge.

A lot of women here are talking about a stringy white discharge, that just has to do with your ovulation and how fertile you are and is 100% normal. Another indictaor is a white creamy discharge, this is an indictation of thrush and should be treated.

Mine is more like clear water, completely odourless and clear or sometimes slightly cloudly. I have to wear pads 24/7 and I often wear long jumpers just in case the discharge becomes too heavy and have a constant fear of it seeping through my jeans! It often feels like I'm wetting myself because it just suddenly comes out without warning.

I've been to the doctor multiple times and they haven't found any solutions. I've had STI tests and everything and it has all come back negative. The doctor has seen the discharge and has no idea what it is.

She didnt have a treatment for me but said that taking Lactobacillus tablets could help. They are available in many health food shops and can help maintain a healthy vaginal environment.

I've had this for almost a year and it is having a serious affect on my confidence levels and even on the type of clothes I wear! Going back to the doctor in 2 weeks time to see if she can help me anymore!

I'm 20 and have had excessive discharge since I started menstruating, as far as I can remember, aged 14.  I've always had very painful periods.  Like, reeeeally painful.  They're also heavy, and last for around 4-5 days normally, though I've suffered for 8 whole days more than once.  That runs in my family though.  I lost my virginity at 17 and have had a fair few partners since then, but nothing like a stable, long-term relationship until recently.  I wear pantyliners all the time, but sometimes I can even flood them and have to quicktime in to the loo to clean up.  If I don't wear a pantyliner, it'll stain my knickers, as well as completely saturating them and possibly even my pants.  It's white or creamish in colour and there's no smell or anything.  No irritation except that I'm always damp, which isn't pleasant.  I went on the pill 3 months ago now, both to help with my period pains (which it hasn't actually helped with so far, by the way) and as a method of contraception.  That hasn't had any effect at all (I was kind of hoping it might reduce it a bit, because I really don't want to have to go to the doctors about this).  I've been tested for STDs and am fine on that front.  So for now I'm stuck wearing and changing pantyliners constantly, and just hoping I s'pose.  For those that are worried about guys though, mine loves how wet I get.  I do tend to nip to the loo and take my pantyliner off before getting too comfy, but I don't think they're really bothered to be honest.  Don't worry about it :)  Best of luck everyone, lemme know if you find anything out!

I'm 23 and a virgin, I am not nor have ever been on birth control or taken any medication whatsoever, apart from insulin for type 1 diabetes.  I have had a clogged up and wet, guey feeling, enough to make me wear panty liners every day, but I still feel constantly uncomfortable.  The discharge does have a smell, however it's not fishy or anything particularly unpleasant, more sweaty or urinary, and its clear, but leaves clear or sometimes yellowy Staines when dry.  It's really annoying and quite worrying.  I have not been to the doctor as I'm far too frightened, being a complete ignorant on things going on 'down there'.  I cant really remember when it started, but I think probably about 5 years ago, getting worse over time.  If I I'm sitting down for long periods the outside of my trousers can even smell.  I have to change the pads so often to try and keep fresh, mostly to no avail.  I have painful but short periods, extreme, debilitating pain for about 4 or 5 hours but the period only lasting about 2 or 3 days.  I have had these painful periods for about the last 5 years too, getting worse so wonder if the two are related.

Tell your doctor to test you for DIV. It has many different symptoms and this sounds like one that I had before I was diagnosed with it. It's a fairly uncommon diagnosis and many gynos and doctors are extremely unfamiliar with it. The test will show positive if during your slide culture if comes back that you have an abundance of white blood cells on your slide. I did a clyndamicine (sp?) treatment for about 2 months straight to get rid of the symptoms. It was definitely not fun at all, but my symptoms including unbearable swelling and pain. However I have read that some women only get the intense discharge. It is definitely worth looking into with your gyno. Hope you get better soon, I completely sympathize with you, it was probably the worst experience of my life!

I have had this discharge problem since I hit puberty. I am now 30. It neither got worse or better when I had my son. I gave up wearing panty liners 24/7 years ago and now I just fold up a few squares of toilet paper if its really bad. I can feel it coming out sometimes. It is like lotion, off white and doesn't really smell . It does dry kinda yellow on my underwear though. I actually find that the more often I have sex with my husband, the less I have discharge. Ladies, don't be embarrassed by this ... you can't help it. Try having sex more often, I think the discharge is my body's way of telling me it's been too long. Its I too was tested years ago for all the STDs and bacterial infections and I was totally clean. I knew I would be cuz this problem started while I was still a virgin.

I am 35, no kids and I am so frustrated because of this same problem I do not know what to do. I have not yet gone to the doctor about this but after reading all these posts it seems like doctors have no answers either. This is making my life so uncomfortable, having to wear pads all the time or walking around with wet underpants is disturbing to me. Once I went to get waxed and I was told by my beautician to try and not use any soap and just wash only with water, I was so embarrassed by her comment that now I feel self conscious when getting a wax, I run to the restroom to wash myself before hand. I am going to try and write about this to Dr. OZ maybe he has some answers. Maybe you ladies can do the same, he will know its a common problem and will def. do a show about it.

Same thing! I'm 17, virgin and have gone to two doctors about it and all they tell me is that it is "normal" and that it "might" go away when I am older.
