Hey discharge sufferers---YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!!!

Sorry about that, just wanted to tell you what worked like a miracle for me! I've had this same discharge for 11 years, since I was 10. I was tested by doctors for this, that, and the other, and absolutely nothing came up, other than they said it's a "rare kind of flora"...(?!) and there's nothing to treat it. It got so bad I've had to wear pads every single stinkin day regardless of my cycle.

Then someone else with the same issue told me to STOP wearing pads. I thought was kind of a silly idea considering how much I need them, but I lined my undies with a paper towel/tissue folded up and secured w/ cloth medical tape, and did that for 3 days instead of wearing pads.

The discharge is GONE, and fast--for the first time in over a decade. Go figure. The plastic backing on pads is like a moisture-holding heat-trapping infection magnet. So I guess all the area needed was loose pants/underwear, and air. I'm curious if this will work for anyone else!!

I have had the excessive discharge since I was 10 right before starting my period at 11.I am now almost 33 and have suffered with it all my life.I have been tested for everything under the sun, only to be told it can happen to some women and is normal, there is nothing I can do about it.I can either wear a liner or light tampon every day of my life,or stain and ruin all my underwear.I also as someone else mentioned feel it as it comes out and it feels like I peed my pants it is so much. You are not alone

After reading all of these, it's safe to say I could have written all of them! I've had this strange white, watery discharge every day since I was 14 or so. My doctor says it's normal but having to wear a pantyliner every day does NOT feel normal!! I don't wear one at night and sometimes if I don't go to bed right away, I'll move a certain way or cough or something and I'll feel it leaking out and through my PJ's! (Sorry if that's TMI but seriously... What the hell.) I'm so over it.

I've been to a few other message boards and a girl posted saying she was taking " Flagyl" and that it seemed to help. I'm definitely going to look into it!

Hope this helps.

definitely go to the doctor. any cheese like discharge/onion smell is the sure sign of an infection.

Estrogen increases the fluidity of cervical mucus secretions, whereas progesterone causes the secretions to become thicker and more viscous. Excessive vaginal discharge may be due to increased estrogen production; talk to your doctor about progesterone only hormonal therapy like Prometrium, which may help antagonize the effect of estrogen and decrease fluidity of the secretions.

I think this vaginal discharge is quiet normal for most women. Some women get it more than others and I know this because my sister doesn't get it as much as me and so she doesn't have to wear panty-liners all the time or put tissue in her underwear. It is annoying but it also normal. I have had it ever since I hit puberty and I'm only 20 now. I only ever mentioned it to my doctor once and she just asked if it smelled like fish which apparently is a clear sign that it is an infection. However if there is no strong odour then it is healthy discharge that the mucous glands are producing, which is a good sign that you are healthy. So basically I agree that this is all just normal, however gross it may seem. Guys produce sperm, we produce mucous, simple as.

If anyone disagrees, please tell me.

Same here! I've been anti bionics for yeast and bacteria so many times, it does not make a difference.

I'm 42 NOT sexually active but I have an IUD as well. A Mirena to be exact (I think LOL). But I too have had this discharge as well for several months. No odor but stringy and white as others have described and it is quite embarrassing as well. I was beginning to think I had cancer because it couldn't be anything else... I'm in the cancer healthcare field and anytime something is wrong we think we have cancer smh because the paranoia is real.... Its comforting to know that others share the same concerns and I'll be sure to keep a positive outlook on this ratchet problem.

Did anyone find any answers? I had my first baby 10 months ago and have been having the same issues. constant LARGE amounts of gross discharge every day, many times a day. My doctor did the same tests and said i'm fine and it's just my body adjusting. Like you, I feel this IS NOT NORMAL.

Hi ladies, im searching for answer too. Through my research from the net i actually found, maybe its sugar imbalance. You should get rid of processed sugar, pasta and all white bread. And drink lots of water and exercise for 20mins 3x a week til sweat.

I am 28 years old, I have two kids my youngest is 5. I had my tubes tied in 2009. I have always been very healthy when it comes to my female parts. I would on occasion get a yeast infection but other then that I never had discharge. So obviously when I started to have a ton of discharge and I mean I felt like I was peeing on my self I knew something was wrong. Now in Oct. of 2013 I had to have surgery to remove a cyst on my left ovary and they found endometriosis that had to be removed as well. It wasn't till after that surgery that I started to have this problem so I figured it had to do with the surgery. I went to my OBGYN 3 times with this problem and all I got was it's normal or heres a few rx try them. I was tired of hearing it so I went to my PCP and got the same thing or it's some rare vaginitis or something. I didn't like that so I went to a new OBGYN a friend referred me to. He said it's normal and just like almost every post so far I was checked for STD'S which I have been with my husband for ever and nobody else but they checked. They also checked infections and just about everything else in my blood and beyond. Still everything is normal. I just had another surgery a week ago to remove my left ovary and tube due to another cyst that my new doctor didn't like the shape of. Well again like my last surgery after the bleeding from the surgery went away I still had the discharge. I go tomorrow to get released. I am so over this my sex life is basically gone at this point because I am so uncomfortable down there and with so much discharge its irritated down there and I am having to use basically diaper rash cream off and on to get that to go away and that was given to me by my new OBGYN because he saw the irritation and could exam on me like he needed to on one of our visits. I need help with this I can stand up and feel it just pour out. I went to using tampons if I had to go out someplace to hide it I have had to spend days at home where I can't wear pants cause the irritation hurts so bad and I am on an ice pack. This can't be normal at all I don't care what anyone says. If you like this happening to you great but I don't I want my life back. I am very sensitive down there anyway and since I was 12 I have only ever wore white 100% cotton panties, I do not take bubble baths hardly at all, not scented anything down there at all only plain ivory soap I keep it dry and clean down there. I just don't know what to do. Any advice would be great.
