Hey discharge sufferers---YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!!!
Sorry about that, just wanted to tell you what worked like a miracle for me! I've had this same discharge for 11 years, since I was 10. I was tested by doctors for this, that, and the other, and absolutely nothing came up, other than they said it's a "rare kind of flora"...(?!) and there's nothing to treat it. It got so bad I've had to wear pads every single stinkin day regardless of my cycle.
Then someone else with the same issue told me to STOP wearing pads. I thought was kind of a silly idea considering how much I need them, but I lined my undies with a paper towel/tissue folded up and secured w/ cloth medical tape, and did that for 3 days instead of wearing pads.
The discharge is GONE, and fast--for the first time in over a decade. Go figure. The plastic backing on pads is like a moisture-holding heat-trapping infection magnet. So I guess all the area needed was loose pants/underwear, and air. I'm curious if this will work for anyone else!!
After reading all of these, it's safe to say I could have written all of them! I've had this strange white, watery discharge every day since I was 14 or so. My doctor says it's normal but having to wear a pantyliner every day does NOT feel normal!! I don't wear one at night and sometimes if I don't go to bed right away, I'll move a certain way or cough or something and I'll feel it leaking out and through my PJ's! (Sorry if that's TMI but seriously... What the hell.) I'm so over it.
I've been to a few other message boards and a girl posted saying she was taking " Flagyl" and that it seemed to help. I'm definitely going to look into it!
Hope this helps.
Estrogen increases the fluidity of cervical mucus secretions, whereas progesterone causes the secretions to become thicker and more viscous. Excessive vaginal discharge may be due to increased estrogen production; talk to your doctor about progesterone only hormonal therapy like Prometrium, which may help antagonize the effect of estrogen and decrease fluidity of the secretions.
I think this vaginal discharge is quiet normal for most women. Some women get it more than others and I know this because my sister doesn't get it as much as me and so she doesn't have to wear panty-liners all the time or put tissue in her underwear. It is annoying but it also normal. I have had it ever since I hit puberty and I'm only 20 now. I only ever mentioned it to my doctor once and she just asked if it smelled like fish which apparently is a clear sign that it is an infection. However if there is no strong odour then it is healthy discharge that the mucous glands are producing, which is a good sign that you are healthy. So basically I agree that this is all just normal, however gross it may seem. Guys produce sperm, we produce mucous, simple as.
If anyone disagrees, please tell me.
Same here! I've been anti bionics for yeast and bacteria so many times, it does not make a difference.
I'm 42 NOT sexually active but I have an IUD as well. A Mirena to be exact (I think LOL). But I too have had this discharge as well for several months. No odor but stringy and white as others have described and it is quite embarrassing as well. I was beginning to think I had cancer because it couldn't be anything else... I'm in the cancer healthcare field and anytime something is wrong we think we have cancer smh because the paranoia is real.... Its comforting to know that others share the same concerns and I'll be sure to keep a positive outlook on this ratchet problem.

Did anyone find any answers? I had my first baby 10 months ago and have been having the same issues. constant LARGE amounts of gross discharge every day, many times a day. My doctor did the same tests and said i'm fine and it's just my body adjusting. Like you, I feel this IS NOT NORMAL.
Hi ladies, im searching for answer too. Through my research from the net i actually found, maybe its sugar imbalance. You should get rid of processed sugar, pasta and all white bread. And drink lots of water and exercise for 20mins 3x a week til sweat.
