I went to the drs last week for my annual pap & I have been having this discharge for a few months. Dr checked me out, did sum tests..all negative & told me it could be my body reacting to the nuva ring (my birth control). But I have used the nuva ring a few years ago & never came across this issue! My doctor explained to me that we all come across a point in our lives where things change & happen that u are not used to. He said I'm ovulating & if it irrates me too much to change birth control but he also said it may not change anything. Do kegals.. Muscles may be loose... I'm 27, it is rather annoying cuz I can feel it coming out! But on the plus side I don't have to buy lubricants anymore! Lol, I feel better knowing this is happening to many women & not just me. Good luck ladies, hope u find ur happy medium

I am a 25 yr old with the same clear-to-white stringy discharge. I am hoping to find some similarities among us in a hope to figure out a solution. What are y'all's habits in consuming meats and dairy? I was wondering if maybe it has to do with added hormones (environmental, foods, birth control stuff). Also, I was wondering if y'all had the Depo Privera injections too? I did when I was 17, and after a brutal emotional reaction, and perpetual spotting for over a year I decided to never again take birth control medications. But still, I was wondering if the stringy discharge has to do with uterus grime backing up (possibly causing infections).

I am 13 years old and have the same problem! I'm a virgin and haven't gotten my period yet but I'm to embarrassed to tell a doctor

Whew! Wipes for head! I was beginning to think I was alone here! My excessive discharge has just started about a month ago! I'm 41 and my periods were normal until last year sometime. I remember getting two periods in March...just a week apart. The excessive discharge began last month and has increased this month. So much so, it feels like I'm literally peeing on myself. Changed my undies 3 times just yesterday! I was like what the Hell?!! Yes! It is frustrating but I'm glad to know that others are/have experiencing/experienced the same things. Scheduling with my gynecologist asap just to ease my mind! Comforting to know that the discharge is not smelly and clear but having soggy undies doesn't feel very nice. : /

I have noticed a couple of different dynamics here on this topic. Those young... And those who have aged. I have had this same issue for what seems my entire life since puberty. I am currently almost 40. I've heard from doctors and read time and time again, this clear, non odor, wetness is "normal", and just the way I'm made. I hate it most times. It's embarrassing- and actually keeps me awake at night because of " leaking " or "dripping". I don't get either, ladies. Even sex seems odd. Men swear by it.. But it makes me wonder if they can actually feel anything as generally I can't. It's just messy!! I've had 3 children, and a full hysterectomy. Nothing made it better or worse. Here's to " vaginal cleanliness ".… I guess.. :-/

Im 31 weeks pregnant with my second child. I went to the hospital thinking my water broke because i swear it was exactly like how my water broke with my first. I've read pages of comments and have not seen anyone who is pregnant with this problem. Some assume that it's your body telling you you're ready for a baby but i already have one in there. The doctors did a few tests to make sure it's not amniotic fluid and its not. I happened to have a yeast infection at the time so they just blamed the excess discharge on the infection. I used the cream i was prescribed and the infection (thick white discharge) went away but i still have A LOT of clear discharge throughout the day that soaks through panty liners and i have to change my panties multiple times a day. It seems to really flow when I'm more stressed than usual.

This is the first time I've ever found anything like what I experience. I have the exact same symptoms and have for nearly 8 years. I'm only 15. I just figured it was normal. But nothing has been found as a cause of this?

I have this also, I notice the discharge is very heavy around the time of ovulation . I went gluten free and it stopped. If at anytime I try and eat gluten it comes back. I hope this helps.

This what my thought exactly. It's the same fluid as when I squirt. It happens mostly to me after a hot shower

I too started suffering from excessive discharge. Sometimes white or yellowish. My doctor tested me for everything and tried to treat me for BV even though I did not have any type of odor. My only complaint was feeling wet all the time. I hated being at work all day in damp panties and when I would try to wear pantyliners would be get irritating after a while. After scouring the Internet, I tried some herbal remedies. Let me tell you fenugeek worked for me! It does not completely eliminate it, but pretty close. I bought the seeds online and boil them to make a pitcher of tea. I drink one big glass a day. I hate how it tastes and hate how it makes my urnie smell. But, I was so desperate I will deal with it. I don't believe you are supposed to use if pregnant or have thyroid issues (which I do), but am using it anyway.

I too have had this problem for a while now. Also, went to doc & was tested for all the same c**p as y'all, all negative. They did however do an internal ultrasound & found that I have both a fibroid & a polyp in my uterus. The fibroid is tiny & nothing to worry about at this point and time. They are, however going to take the polyp out on Feb 19. It was causing me to have 2, very heavy, periods a month. Since I went to the doc & got diagnosis & surgery date, I haven't even had 1 period!!! Hopefully, the polyp removal will take care of the discharge!! We will see! I will let you know!!
