I have severe cervical spine instability with nerve damage. When I started having the eye lid twitching, I thought the two were related. I went to an eye specialist who diagnosed my upper eye lid issue as : Blepharospasm There is treatment for this issue such as, injections into the eye lid itself. I'd see more than one type of doctor, sometimes it takes a few to get to the bottom of an on going chronic issue. Good luck!

Whatever you do.....Do Not Go to a Chiropracter.......I went to one and had a partially herniated lumbar disk....and had MRI before and after seeing him and he totally herniated my disk. Now I have 2 herniated disks in my lumbar spine....! Doctors ask you if you had gone to a Chiropractor and they make you go for another MRI to see if there was anymore damage!....

The shoulder and neck Yoga from You tube has been very helpful. It has reduced the one sided headache too. It is worth trying.

Right on man! Something strange is going on, I keep hearing from a lot more people from everywhere, near east coast, experiencing same symptoms, but slightly different reactions. I have relatives that are worse and in PA. Northern VA / Washington DC / Pennsylvania

Because you have had a lot of change I wonder if you are eating properly try this diet and see how you feel in three weeks - organic boiled egg for breakfast or organic oats (no added stuff) with organic milk, tea spoon of pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. Dinner wholemeal (preferably organic) with one of the following fillings: tinned salmon, mackerel or sardines and for your evening meal either fish or chicken with sweet potatoe or brown rice, carrots and broccoli. You will probably be hungry so make sure your snacks are organic. just drink water and totally avoid sweetners and spray deoderants. DO NOT fry anything in veg oil!

bad neck shoulders: many symptoms and many pathologies with one being cervical herniation, an MRI will reveal such relationship. Cervical herniation will cause pain in the head/pressure, pain in arms and shoulders. Pain in the sternum front chest will be from the Thoracic region of the spine. Second there may be a mass either in the supraclavicular region or a cervical neuroma which may be undetected even on an MRI. Another you could have blockage /clotting/ or pulmonary edema. Had an uncle who had similar symptoms when on Chemotherapy and his was hreniation of the cervical and thoracic area C5/6 and 4/5 and T 3/4 w/ compression fractures. Being 85 his bones are fragile. Need not to worry, always consider the lesser pathology and prognosis. It will probably be cerical herniation which surgical intervention is extremely successful

I just had a sonogram of my neck for submandibular pain thought to be due yo lymph nodes. Nope. Showed I have an inflamed muscle on the front of my neck. Ive been having funny sensations on one side of my face with ear pain and around the back of my head, and a sore spot in my throat. I just read up on muscles in the front of your neck and was surprised to read that the SCM muscle will cause all theses problems if it is strained. I'm talking to my doctor and chiropractor about it.
