i have them too if you find out what they are let me know they itch and pop and my eye waters and hurts for a few day

found out from dr it is a stye they come in diff types
It could be a few things;
if the "bump" you feel is permanently there, it's probably a chalazion.
if your eyelid temporarily swells up and gets sore, you probably have a blockage of the glands in your eyelid. A hot compress with mild massaging of the eyelid will help. Personally, I use a q-tip to apply pressure from underneath the eyelid and use my free finger to apply pressure from above. This usually breaks up the blockage and a puss like fluid oozes out of my eyelid.
As for what causes either of these; I don't know.
