My eyes have been peeling for about three or four years. My peeling I mean that a layer of goo on my eyeball comes off. Sometimes I can see the string across my eyeball all day. Sometimes I scrape at the end of the string if I can do it without scratching my eye/lid to get it off. When it comes off it's a string of goo. If I blink it off usually it gets kind of balled up and kind of looks like sleep goop.
I also always have a feeling that something's in my eyes. I think most of the time it's the goo but other times there doesn't seem to be anything there. I also have floaters all the time and some black specks that have been there for years.
I don't understand ur question ._.
I went to the doc & he said I had conjunctivitis. I used the ointment I was given as prescribed but no change.
Have you found out any more about what's going on with your eyes?
every few weeks or sometimes every 2 months i get eye infections and i always peel layers of yellow rubber things inside my top and sometimes bottom eyelids.
i have been suffering for 12 years now. Everytime i get told its conjuctivitis but its really affected my life itll last for about a week and sometimes 2 in both eyes.i have to keep wearing sunglasses to cover up cause its hurts heaps and looks really bad.
I did the tear duct surgery cause i was told i had a blocked tear duct but it didnt help. Did surgery for nothing.....
please if anyone knows what this is pleaseee let me knoww. Im only 24 yrs old but my eyes look like im 50. Please help!!!
Looks like PVD posterior vitreous displacement. Not a lot of info on it but google does have some. It says many experience it no treatments, cures. Just that symptoms lessen over time. I was actually looking for more info when I came across this post. I hope I have helped
I've been going through the exact same thing. I get it every couple of months and I usually ignore it and go on with my day feeling like there's something in my eye but today I've had it, it's really hurting and when I check to see what it is, it's a tiny dot of something peeling off the white part of my eye. It's tiny but it's killing me!!! Does anybody know how to get rid of it or how to avoid getting it?
