I'm 20 and I'm in college. I just transfered into a new school august 2008 and I met this guy, Jr. He is also a transfer and we lived in the same residence hall. We practically did everything together and were usually seen together. In Jan 09 I told him I was interested in guys. He just smiled/laughed and said, "I figured." So after that we began to hang out more and became closer friends..and also reaffirmed his str8ness to me. We became roommates in August 2009 and continue to do EVERYTHING together, from talking to working out to taking classes together to having lunch and dinner together.... and I think I'm attracted to him... He never hinted that he likes me like that but anytime I have ever made reference of him being into guys, he gets really defensive...yet when I said "Screw you" once, he laughed and said "I'm fine, I don't want you to be tired." So that confused me... I know he's not homophobic...but the mixed signals are too much..Whats going on? Truthfully.
maybe he thought you were just kiding or he's not that into you in inthat way but doesn't want to hurt you. but i'm sure you can still be friends. have you asked him if he likes guys?
Yea, he knew I was joking.. I meant "Screw You" as like "forget you/whatever." He doesn't know that i have feelings for him and we are really really close friends so I know he wouldn't have a problem telling me the truth. I've never out right asked him...for fear it would make things awkward. lol
maybe you could just ask him in a way that doesn't make him know that you feel like that.
