Depends on your height and age.
I am 12 and 63 inches tall. I am overweight by only about 10 pounds of the average weight for my height. But if you think about it, the only way you see your stomach is with a mirror or by looking down. By looking down, it looks like more fat than it is. In a mirror, it depends on your preception. If you think you are fat, then you will look in the mirror and see what you think is there. Like, in another example, if you have a minor bumb on your face, and you think it is like another planet, the mirror will decive you. Best way to know if you are TRULY overweight is to know the range of healthy weights for your height. Flat stomachs are a good goal, but thats not always good. I hate sumer approaching, but if you are comfortable, you will be fine.
I know you didn't post this question to hear a lecture on how you are fine, but ok. Best way to lose weight is to take away soda. BYE BYE. If you LOVE soda, at first, just try to reduce it and use it as a reward. Maybe if you use it as a monthly reward that you get on the last day of each month for not cheating. Also, remember to forgive yourself. That doesn't mean eating too much then still getting your end-of-month reward. Here is the reccomended breakfast, lunch and dinner list for how much you eat.
Breakfast: one serving size of your carb, one serving size of a fruit, and a tablespoon of peanut butter, a peice of bacon or an egg, drink 1 cup (8 oz) of milk or one serving size of another dairy product.
Lunch: One serving size of a carb, one serving size of fruit OR veggie and protein and a dairy.
Dinner. Carb, veggie, a protein(maybe a meat), and your dairy.
Also, for your meals, less sugar and whole grains are best.
Excersise!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to lose weight, then 10,000 or more steps every day is good. Get a step counter. I have one that hooks to my pants or shoe. It works good.
