Hi. 42 year old female. For 9 days I suffered with an abscess in my throat. Gen dr kept trying different meds until yesterday when I broke down in his office and insisted on a referral. Saw ENT and he recommended immediate surgery. Did that today. The abscess was on my right side and ruptured last night, draining a large portion of infection. Dr. said that food food. So far not much pain but oddly it is more concentrated on right left side where the healthy tonsil was. Does this make sense? And is it really gonna worse????
