Hello, I am 19 years old.
I have been having sex for the past month or so with my foreskin retracted only about halfway over my glans. This is because that when erect, I cannot pull my foreskin back completely over my head (but while flaccid I can do this easily.) It becomes tight on my glans and is sometimes slightly painful but nothing too much. After sex, when my penis becomes soft, the foreskin remains tightly wound around halfway on my head and it takes quite a bit of effort to get it to fully cover it again.
This has never been too much of a problem, but after about 10 or so hours after having sex today, i notice that applying pressure to the underside of my penis (around the area where the frenulum) is causes a sharp pain. Applying pressure to the sides of the glans does too. I also cannot lay on my chest on my bed due to a sharp pain when my penis is between the bed and my body. When I urinate, there is a slight pain right in the beginning right when the urine comes out but that is it.
I am wondering why this is happening and if it is serious. Will it be okay on its own? Thanks for any help.

There are half a dozen young men on here, with slightly different symptoms , but the common cause is tight foreskin. It cean safely be streched outward from both sides. The more often you can do it the better, but doi't do it hard enough to hurt. There is probably nothing else wrong, but if it continues to hurt after you have loosened it some, then see a dactar. But be patient and don't expect an overnight cure.
