Have you been performed a biopsy of the mass that had been found on your sternum?
Biopsy should indicate and find what the cause may be.
A lump on the sternum could indicate infections like tuberculosis but also different growths that could be both benign or malignant; aortic aneurysm, which is an abnormal dilation of the main artery that leads from the heart,
Do you have any additional symptoms? Is the mass visible? Have you experienced any breathing problems?
Did your doctors tell you what the mass looked like? Any additional info is welcome!
Even syphilis can cause a lump on the sternum! Have you had any risky sexual contacts?
