Six weeks ago, I was diagnosed with celiac sprue. Started on gluten free diet the next day. Two weeks later, I had a hida scan that showed 14% EF. CT scan and ultrasound were negative for stones etc... Surgery was originally scheduled for april 14 but I postponed it hoping that things would get better....??:( Anyway, the last few days, I have been nauseated, like I am newly pregnant. Could it be the gallbladder? The pain in my side and back and gallbladder area in front is minimal. It's the nausea that is getting to me. I guess I am hesitant to remove because of the new diagnosis of celiac sprue. I know nausea can be a symptom of that, but since being gluten free for six weeks, I would think that that would have resolved if the nausea was from gluten....Opinions, anyone??
