My 15 year old son has been nauseated for 3 weeks now and his Hida scan showed a ejection rate of 31%. He has missed so much school and 8 pounds in 3 weeks but no pain. Does this ejection rate warrant surgery?
It could be possible. If your son has to get his gallbladder removed, it is a quick outpatient surgery that requires very little work so he should be going tback to school again in no time. Can you give us an update on how he's doing? Thanks!
