Getting electric, buzzing feeling in head, (brain), and eyes!!

I have this feeling in my head that sounds like electricity.  It comes an goes. I get this once in a while when I have a cold or virus.  I just am going through a very long 2 week battle of a virus. It seems when I turn my head side to side or put my head down is when it happens the most.  I do have an inner ear problem.  I have no balance in my ears. I go to the dr faithfully. I have alot of medical problems. I am also on Zoloft. and Xanax for anxiety & depression. Heart meds an many more.

I do hope things havevtirned around for you I've been experiencing something like this w blurred vision eyes won't focus and stumble a lot. I sure hope u are coming thru this. God bless and keep ubsafe.

I have been experiencing a similar buzzing feeling/auditory sensation recently as well and trying to determine if I should be concerned.


Several times an hour I get a brief 2-3 second buzzing/tingling in my head and extremities coupled with a a slight tone shift in what I'm hearing.  The best way I can describe it is similar to how I felt/what I heard when getting my wisdom teeth out as a teenager just before falling asleep from the "laughing gas".


It is more annoying than anything but has only surfaced in about the last 6-8 weeks, doesn't seem to be going away and I am not on any sort of prescription medication or illicit drugs.  Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

ok everyone i love all of you to begin. it is true it is in your pineal gland. be extremely happy. this is a very good thing. i stopped eating processed foods. drink nothing but water. and it took almost a year to awaken my pineal gland. the energies then took another six months to avyear to regulate into coherence. it will be painful but keep your mind on the goal. spiritual awakining. little secret no one hardly knows. the entire universe is one. unity is all around. when you breathe out trees breathe in. look around all the light you see is created by the vibration of love. last piece of wisdom i pass on today there are only two types of entitys roaming this world and every other piece of the universe. beings that serve others and beings that serve thereself. no matter which you choose you serve the creator. there is only one.

You need to get checked for a vestibular neuroma, or a tumor on your ear nerve. I had vertigo, dizziness, nausea, loss of hearing. Yadda, yadda, this is what I had. Tumor usually never grows much, but mine did and I had to have it removed or it was going to end me. Search on internet for vestibular neuroma.

If you are in opiate withdrawal or anti depressant wd, its normal. I am coming off suboxone and have the exact same thing and when I move my eyes its worse. It will pass.

Hubby u have what's called vertigo I have that its scary at time but nothing to be afraid of get yourself into see a ent doctor and those feelings of tingling in arms etc are from panic and anexity i do felt those before just breathe

I have the same thing...started in 2008. The sensations are sporadic. I brought it to the attention of several doctors (various specialists). Had some brain scans & my eyes checked out thoroughly but nothing came of it. Occasionally I look for answers on line but mostly I'm just living with it. I am not computer savvy...don't know what captcha means.

Hi, I have had simmilar electric buzzing through my head and body since I was a kid. Ive never spoke to anyone about it, Im now 34 and pretty healthy. it mostly happens at night in bed. I remember when I was young thinking I had a superpower 'electric man' , lucky I didn't put my fingers in a socket. as ive had it all my life, as I recall, I dont think its too much to worry about. hope that puts some minds at rest :)

I should add, as a child I wasnt afraid of it and would try and make it last longer, training my 'superpower' if you will and I could hold it on for a while. I would just relax into it, feel it building, then panic and open my eyes.

I also have the same thing and have been having it for years it scares the bejesus out of me I am on Paxil and my doctor said unfortunately that is a side effect, but I don't believe that I'll be walking down the street and then buzzzzzzzzzz it scares me. I feel your pain and your by far not crazy or alone in this
