I’ve been getting abnormal pap results twice now (in last three years) and ever since the first one I knew they were caused by me being HPV positive. But my ob-gyn at the time simply told me that all that can be done is to ‘watch and wait’. Since I had problems with insurance I skipped one pap screening, and I guess I only have myself to blame for waiting until HPV has led to cervical dysplasia to start looking for alternative ways to boost my immune system and at least try to minimize the impact the HPV virus has. From what I’ve read so far it seems simple enough to go for making my diet better and healthier, but any info on particular foods that help fight HPV? As far as supplements are concerned, I’m going to talk about this with my primary doc too, but I did start taking the folic acid and D vitamins. Anything else that might help me?
