Hi, I am wondering if gingivitis is linked to yeast infection. Are they both caused by the same infection or could they possibly be affecting each other? Thank you
As best I can tell, no, it isn't possible for the two to be related because the bacteria involved in gingivitis and the bacteria involved in a yeast infection are two totally different bacteria, so I don't think it's possible. However, I don't totally discount the possibility, so it could be worth investigating anyway with your doctor. Are you suffering chronically from one or the other?
