I've got ITP and have just got pregnant. I'm considering an abortion but would like to know more about the risks. My platelets count is around 50 and I haven't taken any medication for the past 2 years. Please advise if I need special treatment or if there's any risks in a medical termination, or if I could just have a standard abortion under general anaesthetic.

How did things work out? I'm in a similar place. Itp but my counts range from mid 20s to mid 40s. They were at 60 once.
