I had my gall bladder removed in Jan 2010. Recently I had been experiencing upper abdomen enlargement causing discomfort when I would sit wherein the enlargement would push up into my lungs. I went to the doctor, had an ultrasound performed to see what they may find. In between I began getting stabbing pains on the upper right abdomen. Today I got the results of my ultrasound. I was told that I now have a fatty liver but not to worry that exercise and diet will control this. What caused this, is it a result of the gall bladder surgery? I have not been but a rare alcohol drinker, how did this happen? How do I fix it? >:( Can anyone help me to understand this? I have lost faith in doctors, I keep getting the run around, which originally led me to having the gall bladder surgery to begin with.
