I had green light surgery 9 days ago..My bleeding stopped within a day but there was burning and increased frequency of urination for about 7-8 days...all part of the normal process of healing but again...everyone is different.
Now 9 days post surgery I am happy to say that last night I was able to sleep more than 6 hours without having to pee. I have not attempted any kind of sexual activity so far and am preapred to wait at least 2 weeks as I was advised.
My stream is excellent now and we'll see how it all settles after a full recovery which takes between 8-12 weeks.
Just remember initially after the surgery your symptoms will be as bad or worse than before because of the inflmmation from the surgery.
In my case, everything took a positive turn on about the 7-8th day of recovery.
