Hi avon,
It is possible to have a period when pregnant, but the dates you had sex appear to be at times when you were not likely to be fertile. Also the period was heavy. So the indications are that you would not be pregnant.
Sorry the reply is late, but I have been away from the site lately.

Hi nekka,
Yes, there is a slight chance you could be pregnant, but you didn't say when you took the tests. If you take a test now, the result is likely to be reliable (if it is 21 days since your last sex).

Hi
I'm 24 years old. Me and my partner usually use the withdrawal method. But just this month, exactly a week before my supposed period, he ejacilated inside me. My periods usually come on the 19th of each month, sometimes 1 or 2 days late at most. So I had unprotected sex on the 12th of Dec, didn't get my period on 19th dec. Is there's a low possibility that I'm pregnant? I am worried because I haven't had late periods in a long time and I am not stressed or eating irregularly. Please advice!
Thank you
Poppy

Hi Poppy
Have you had your period yet?
If your period were due 19th, then 12th would not likely have been a fertile day. However you don't say much about your cycle. A regular cycle would not be likely to fall on the same day number each month (+/- 2 days). Can you give you previous 4 period dates?
Anytime you have sex there is the possibility of pregnancy following as ovulation can sometimes occur at an unexpected time, even with regular cycles. If you ovulated a week late, then 12th could have been a fertile day. That would give an indicative period start of 26th (today). So, if your period has not arrived by 28th, you could take a home test. If that were to be negative, then I suggest another test on 2nd Jan. That result should be reliable.
I hope this helps

Thank you
i have a relation with my boyfriend. but i am not having a sex with him. only touch his penis on my vagina. how many possibility my pregnant. i am in tension
Hi ScaredandWorried
A week before your period was due was not likely to have been a fertile time (if your periods are regular - usually starting on time). But having taken PlanB, you are not likely to get pregnant . However your next periods may start at unexpected times. They may be earlier than expected, or later than expected.
Remember that whenever you have sex there is the chance of pregnancy, particularly unprotected.
You haven't said anything about the circumstances - why you had unprotected sex - but take the opportunity to consider what happened, and try to learn for the future.
I hope this helps. If you want any further help, just ask.

Hi 'Guest' It is difficult to answer with any certainty without more information about the date(s) this happened relative to your period dates, but I will make some comments I hope you find helpful.
- You can only get pregnant when sperm enters your vagina at a fertile time.
- Pre-cum can contain sperm.
- By vagina, what exactly do you mean? Your vagina is the tube that connects your uterus (womb) to the outside of your body.
- Any sperm on his penis could enter your vagina if placed at the entrance of a wet vagina.
Where are you from, and are there any cultural/religious implications for you?
I hope this helps as a start
Cliché, but it was in the moment. I won't have unprotected sex unless I'm on birth control or something. And yes my periods are always spot on every month. So my period will come a little later than Jan 3rd?
It is impossible to say. It may be a lot later, or maybe sooner, or you may even miss a period. PlanB can disrupt the cycle for a month or two.

Hello Liz, ive been active daily from feb 11 to the 24th my period usually comes on the 16 everymonth it is now the 28 no period. My last period was jan 16
Hello. I got my period on January 23, and I had sex one week before my next period was supposed to come. I have a 28 day cycle, and my period came exactly when it was supposed to, on February 20th. I am on birth control and my boyfriend pulled out, but I am just so paranoid and worried that something went wrong. Like I said, I did get my period, but today, (one week after the first day of my last period), I have a sore abdomen. I read that sometimes cramps accompany implantation. I have never experienced post-period cramps before. I did a little bit of exercise the day before, but to me, I didn't do enough to feel sore. I have read so many articles, however, about how unlikely it is to get pregnant right before your period. Please give me some guidance as to what I should do. Thank you so much.
Hi lizd
If you had your period on time, and it was a normal period, it is highly unlikely you would be pregnant. However, whenever you have sex, particularly unprotected, there is the possibility of pregnancy following. 13th Feb would not likely have been a fertile day if your cycle were the normal 28 days. To ease your mind I suggest taking a test 5th March.
21 days after your last sex (13 Feb + 21 days = 5th March) should produce a reliable result.
I hope this helps.
