Hi Tomo

That depends whether you had sex on a fertile day or not. You haven't given much information!

  1. What date is your next period expected to start?
  2. How long i your cycle (typically 28 days)
  3. What other dates did you have sex since your last period? You said: "iv been having unprotected" (presumably meaning unprotected sex)

Anytime you have sex there is the possibility of pregnancy following, especially unprotected sex

I had an unprotected sex Oct.16 and my period came Oct. 18 and ends Oct.22, is there any possibilities that I could get pregnant? Thank you.

If your period came just two days after sex, and started when expected (within a day or two), then there is very little chance, if any, that you could get pregnant from sex on that day.

hi i'm 28 years old. i had unprotected sex last nov 5 and he ejaculated inside of me. my last period was nov.13 and my expected next period would be on the 9th or 10th of nov. i'm quite worried if it was safe not to get pregnant. thanks

i'm sorry it was supposedly oct. 13. typo error

If your last period started Oct 13 and your next period is due to start Nov 9/10, then it suggests a 27/28 day cycle. That would indicate that you were not fertile on Nov 5.

Hi again I was using a tracker to track my period and when I was fertile or not. But then it started to get way off, So anyways my last cycle was nov 14th to 18th and I was sexual active on the 26th to the 29th which are the days I was fertile and my next prediction cycle to start is December 12th to the 16th. My question is could I possibly have to take a test, I used the NuvaRing and for some reason I thought I had it on for a week but I'm guessing it fell out because I found it under the bed. The first time I got it the doctors but it in for me but when I had to change it I guess it didn't stay, so just wondering if the day I had unprotected sex which was Nov 26th to the 29th would I need to take a pregnancy test or is it too soon

Hi Lunar22

  1. It is certainly too soon to take a test.
  2. You say 'Hi again', but I cannot remember when you might have made a previous posting, so I can only go on what you have said here.
  3. By "my last cycle was nov 14th to 18th" you would mean "my last period was Nov 14th to 18th". Likewise "my next prediction cycle to start is December 12th to the 16th." would mean "my next prediction period to start is December 12th to the 16th". That would indicate a typical cycle of 28 days (14th Nov - 12th Dec). That would certainly indicate that 26th - 28th Nov were fertile days.
  4. However you said "I was using a tracker ... then it started to get way off". That being so your tracker's predictions may well be off. So please can you state your July to September period start dates.
  5. In the event that a pattern cannot be established, then 21 days after your last sex would be a suitable time to test.
  6. Also, please would you state the dates you had the NovaRing inside you.

Hi yes that was an autoCorrect. I am using a different period tracker than I was with these dates. So for July 23 to July 26 and then July 10 to July 13 and then August 16 to August 19 and then September 20 to September 24. In the month of July they gave me two of predictions. And so I downloaded a new tracking app and for my October I got October 19 to the 23rd and then November 14 to the 18th; and those are very good on the predictions. For the NuvaRing I was using it for 26th October to 11th of November.

What were your actual period start dates (as opposed to your predictions)?

The actual dates or July 23 to July 26 and then August 16 to the 19th and September 20th to the 24th: The The predictions were July 10th to 15th August 20 to the 25th and September 10th to the 16th

You haven't given the actual dates for your October and November period starts, but from the dates you have given, your periods are not regular.
23 Jul to 16 Aug = 24 days; 16 Aug to 20 Sep = 35 days
Your earlier actual (and predicted) period starts (before July - as many as you know) would be interesting, because it may well be that your tracker was not unreliable. Trackers track your actual periods and use that information to predict the next one (using averages).
It may be that your sex was not in a fertile period - if your cycle were 24 days or 35 days!
However, until your period has failed to arrive within 21 days of your last sex, you cannot be certain of a reliable negative result.
I hope this helps, if you need more explanation, just ask.

Hello I have the same question as everyone else, what are my chances of being pregnant?

age:23
Method: Pull out (No ejaculation(finish) inside.)
Last period: Nov9-Nov17
Assumed ovulation day: Nov 23
Date of sex: Nov 29
Next expected period: Dec 7 (No bleeding as of yet)

Main issue here is my periods are never the same length of time and rarely ever on the expected date, so I have no idea what my cycle is. I'm guessing somewhere between 28-33 days are the most common. I don't believe I am pregnant but I wanted to doubt check the odds.

If your OD were 23 Nov, then 29 Nov would not be a fertile day. But why did you assume OD to be 23 Nov? That seems to indicate a typical 28-day cycle.

If 28-33 day cycles are 'most common', then a 34-day cycle would not be out-of-the-question. A 34-day cycle would make OD to be 29 Nov - a very fertile day, and the pull-out method is not reliable.

Do you know your period start dates for this year?

I assumed that date based on this app i've been using to track my period. As for it's reliability i'm unsure it usually guesses the week of my period right but the starting and ending date are rarely correct.
