41 year old male, on HBP meds so blood pressure is controlled to about 130/85. I am having balance/equlibrium issues in high sensory environments (loud restaraunts, busy work meetings, indoor sporting events, etc.). When episode occurrs I feel pressure building in back of my head leading to the feeling of unsteadiness or loss of balance. I can continue on with my activity by leaning against something or leaning forward to the table if sitting. When I leave the environment the feeling subsides. I have been through a stress test, echo-cardiogram, blood work, brain MRI and a full screening from the neurologist. Everything appears normal physically. Neurologist suspects stress/panic attacks although I don't feel stressed. Suggested I try Lexapro and see how that helps.
