Hey! :)
I am almost 14 years old and 118-125 pounds.
I have quite a large bust for my age, which adds to my weight. And I am not fat, but I am not muscular. I also have one of those Muffin Top things I hate. (When the weight goes right into your hips, and bulges out like a Muffin.) So I am not worried to much about my weight, though it would be nice to loose a little.
I take dance classes twice a week, every week, Mondays for 2 hours 45 min. and on Thursdays for 3 hours 45 min. Other than that though, I rarely ever exercise, other than occasionally playing Just Dance 4 on Wii. So I am not very physically active.
I like food. i tastes good. I'm not a picky eater and will eat pretty much anything you give me. I do tend to eat pretty healthy, but that's when I do eat. My eating patterns have lately been, on school days, don't eat breakfast or lunch. Come home at 3:30, eat something, and then sometimes have dinner. Then on weekends, I usually sleep till 1:00 pm, miss two meals, and then have dinner. Personally, I do not think that is healthy for me.
I am a happy, outgoing person, with no drama or life issues. (Surprisingly enough,) So I do not have any depression issues. I also am allergic to nothing, and haven't been sick for over a year. So my health seems okay for now. But I am worried about my future health.
I want to become more active. It's just I haven't had the motivation to start, or I never know where or how to start.
Can anyone please tell me how I can become healthier?
P.S: Sorry this topic is long. I tend to write too much. :-P
Please and Thank You.

Hi. I'm a 25 year old female and I know what it's like to not have the motivation to exercise. You seem like you're not under any stress and have no serious health issues (you're only 14 as well). My suggestion is to find a friend to work out with and do activities you like. Or since you are already a little active with the dance classes....do some sort of cardio on the days that you don't dance. That way you are incorporating physical exercise into your routine at least 5 times a week. Start out slow and don't overdo it. I like workout dvds to be honest because they're fun and I can go at my own pace and not have to worry about being embarrassed at the gym.
