This past week i got the nerve to try and seek help again. I decided to go back to the clinic I first went to when i became sexually active. They were great. Luckily at the time of seeing the doctor i wasn't bleeding a lake so i went ahead and had my pap. I was given a higher dose of BC to take during the 2 week wait for my results. Now here is the scary part. I was told I have signs of a bacterial infection and the time I spent waiting and bleeding could have possibly made it worse. They drew some blood and prescribed some antibiotics. I have to take 2 of those 2 times a day with with food and my BC twice a day because they are too strong for me to take both BC pills at the same time. The antibiotics make me horribly groggy and nauseous by itself. The strong BC adds to it. I have lost my appetite and have to force myself to eat or else i get hunger like stomach pains followed by extreme nausea and tiredness. I wont know my results til Feb 1st. I am worried. But the only good thing is my bleeding has stopped. Unfair trade but I hope it all goes back to before the past 7 months soon.

You may want to check with your doctor about endometriosis. About 5 years ago I had a hysteroscopy & laperoscopy done and they determined I had endo. They "zapped" it off and my periods became a "normal" persons heavy period. I some how got pregnant a year later :-) Life was great - for a couple of years... Now I'm bleeding worse than ever and the blood clots scare the c**p out of me. They are the size of my hand.
I guess I have to get back to the one gyn. that finally listened to me and have the surgury again...
Best of luck!

I went online hoping someone had the ansewers to this problem light great periods to the nightmare of pain, nonstop bleeding, clots like your liver is falling out, tired and weak to the point of passing out. I am scared but I know I am still alive and will live through it. I look for the only close ansewer is a miss carriage at it's worst. But I am not pregnet it's just my period. I see family doctors, nurse practioners, specialist, even talk to old women all say the same it is in your head. I'm I crazy. No women have lived though this and still told it is in you head. I miss a week or more living like this. If I keep on living like this It will be in my head I will go crazy. One week of the bleeding, pain, can't leave home for big liver clots or tired about to pass out. There about 1 more week to regain my streath back. I am not a lazy person. My husband see me go through this he is scare I will bleed to death. It is instulting to me to ask my husband to get out of bed 1 to 2 times a night to change bloody sheets, where I have bleed throw thickest pad I can buy, 2 extra thick towels, flowing blood to his side of the bed. I had the pain of feeling I like I'm giving birth each month the pain is in the same spot as birth pain, only to clot and bleed non stop for 2 day or more. I will keep hunting for a doctor. As for my mind I will rest and hug my old friend my heat pad that massages my lower back. And say It's not me it's my body. I may change history one day to help other, well, at least let other know your not alone and IT'S NOT I YOUR HEAD! Doctor say that when they don't know it's in their heads not yours. I thank-you all for sharing I do not feel so lost and alone. You give me the will to see my next Doctor I hope will not take my money as say the test are normal it's all in my head. I belive if they do I scare the hell out of my fist head doctor bleeding through my clothes on his nice couch. I can hear him say you need a doctor. Only to hear my laughter while I say not the doctor said It's all in my head you fix my head. HA Ha. Love ya all going crazy or not?

Ladies,
I have the same symptoms as you have all mentioned and I have been diagnosed with endometriosis. ALL of you should talk to your gyn's and have them run some tests. However keep in mind that just because I have endo doesnt mean you do as well. I am hoping that since I recently had my tubes tied and had the majority of the endo removed that my "periods" will change and get better and no more clots/pain/ etc. Anyways good luck to you all!!!
