Two or three things can cause these blisters. If you already have a cold, rubbing from tissues. Then there are herpes blisters that come out when the immune system is weak. And sometimes cold sores just happen when you have a cold. Use vaseline if you have a cold, don't rub hard. There are creams for herpes blisters and cold sores.

Have struggled with cold sores for years... tried a new product called "Releeve" because it claimed it would work in 1 day and came with a money back guarantee... unbelievable. It worked like a charm - I keep it in my purse and any time I feel an inkling of a breakout, I put it on. Haven't had a breakout in months... I am SO HAPPY

I don't think it does the trick if it takes that long. It's just healing by itslef and probably taking longer to heal because your giving it medication that has nothing to do with it. To dry them up quickly I usually keep an apple cider vinegar soaked cotton ball in my nose for a couple minutes to a half an hour. Or u could use essential oils meant for disinfecting or witch hazel. Then use a natural lubricant without chemicals or additives that will irritate it.

Everytime i get a runny nose and blow my nose all day i wake up the next day with a blister on the tip of my nose, not sure what it is but i always get it when i blow my nose a lot. So my mom told me to put vaseline on after each time i blow my nose, that stops the blister from forming. I thought it was weird so i this time while i had a runny nose i didnt put vaseline on, woke up with a blister. Turns out the vaseline really works. Maybe thats the solution for some of you guys too.

I have cluster blister under my nose too. When it appear, if I see little tiny bubbles, I use a cuticle nipple to open it up and squeeze the fluid out, and I also apply Abreva on. I do this at night, in the morning it start to dry up. I use Abreva for one week and it gone away. You can buy Abreva at Walmart in the lip stick isle. Good luck to you all.

U r the only one that mentioned taking Valtrex. I had my first break out on the end of my nose several years ago and was told it was a cold sore and given Valtex. Since then I've taken Valtrex but it doesn't work that well. L-lysine cream from GNC helped but I would love to know what it actually is and why I get them periodically. Btw, my nose seems to continually run but I've been tested for allergies and don't have any.
